Just to give you all an update:
I am almost done with the editor, just need to fix some things in the design, the looks and stuff
Just remember to backup your old mdb file!!! Those of you who have experiance with Access, can also import the forms, to save your work. But then you also have to import two new tables which I have added: "Formations" and "Stadiums", thats for the forms to be more user friendly, we can now choose a stadium name and not just some lame number
Same goes for Formations, Nationality and some other options..
Also for you who are going to import the stuff, your new players will then not start with ID 53330, (that is if they dont do that allready, then it's okay). Think about it..
It's just that boots option that buggs me, I don't know how many and what kind of boots we have.

I guess all we need now is a tool that can add new faces and assign them, and how the import process will not delete the saved games. But the saved game issue is now being fixed by Ariel.Originally posted by Maniac

the *.mdb file is located in your CreationCentre folder, the Access file.
PS! REMEMBER TO USE ACCESS 2002 or XP ONLY!!!

but I think that the importing the 2 new forms is not totally necesary. its easier to just copy and paste the cells (from the table we already have) into the new mdb file that comes with the editor.
obviuosly, this only goes for people working oin databses starting from 53330 for players and I guess its the same for teams: 1999.
and if you only made players in the access database and you havent link them to a team yet, then you can copy and paste them to the new mdb file too. it doesnt matter the ID, cause the players will be pasted starting from the 53330 ID.

Here is my question :
I have created players with the first ID possible . I mean ID=2
ID=4 ,5 6 etc..
And I can see the changes in the game !
I can attribute the jersey number I like , bis 99.
With which ID numbers will they appear in your editor ?

if you use the Import Default Data option of the CC, the the database will go back to default from the game and 53330 is the first ID that appears.

Then you've got this at the first 2 columns
id Name
+ 1 Arsenal
+ 2 Aston Villa
+ 3 Blackburn
+ 4 Bolton Wanderers
+ 5 Chelsea
And so on ..
You click on the + sign at the left of Arsenal and you see David Seaman data appear, right ?
Then you do the same with + left of Aston Villa and you've got a blank field .This is the player with id=2 .You just have to fill the form and attribute him a team and voila !
You've got the picture :You have to click on the + signs at the left and everytime a form is left blank you can add a player.
I don't know how many players you can create this way but as soon as you arrive at the end of the teams screen you are trapped in the corner so maybe you can investigate further to create more players with low id numbers.

sorry to disapoint you mate, but that aint possible. Sooner or later your IDs could overwrite an existing player or, you woun't be able to add a new player since the next ID is allready taken... The best way for now is to add players from ID 53330 to 54999. That way you can make 1670 new players, which I think is enough...
I tryed to make a funciton so that when we add a new player the Player ID will be the first free ID, but that option is not possible in Autonumber (which the Player ID is). And don't try to change it to number, it will mess all up.
