MS Access editing Thread

I`ve downloaded the editor. I want to know wheter this is final version, or there`s a plan for improvement. If there is, I want to be able to install the changes without using the CC, cos` it will delete my saved games. Anyway, great job guys, I downloaded it a hell lot faster than CC. This is a great 100 kb`s

the access edition has nothing to do with the installation.
Hopefully if the access edition gets popular ariel will make a MDB-to-DBI converter

Well tell Ariel to make it ASAP cause i finally enjoy playing F03 and its a shame for some of us that dont got CC. We need a tool such as Fed03 or FCDB... AND FAST!!!

just to inform those who can't get their teams to work:

Min. players allowed per team is 16
Max. players allowed per team are 24
Remember to set your teams kits in the Teams teable/form.
First Kit (Home)
Second kit (Away)
Third Kit (reserve)
Fourth kit (GK home)
Fifth kit (GK away)

you Don't have to set the Fifth kit....

thanks for the advice but, how do i put my new kits in to the database and what ids are they usually?

When I (ECP) and Hakeem (FifaUruguay) release our Access Editor, then Ariel will start working on it...

1) it's not an editor like FCDB or FEd, it is an Access Form Editor. An editor made out of Forms in Access.

2) the editor is in BETA testing, so it's coming soon.

I've created a team and all seems to be working now except for kits. I just can't set the kit. I've even set the kits to be the same as Arsenal (2,3,4,5+6), but when going into the CC, it just shows the default blue kit so for some reason it doesn't wanna know the kits. Any ideas why?

yes i do

After editing in Access , do NOT change anything in CC!!
Just open it, save and install. The Kits will be shown in-game.

Snoop, here is an updated version of the stuff about the kits I told you over ICQ. I was wrong a bit :

First Kit (Home)
Second kit (Away)
Third Kit (reserve)
Fourth kit (GK home)
Fifth kit (GK away)

I haven't used the CC for anything apart from looking at the kits. Not made any changes or anything.

I've just tried with the England kits as my new teams kits and it still never worked. When picking the kits in the game, it just shows two white boxes (for home and away kits), and if you try to go into the match, it shows the teamsheets ... loads ... then back to desktop

I changed Aston Villa's home kit to the Arsenal home kit, saved and checked it ... no effect at all. There doesn't seem to be a way of changing kits for me

you have to make the kits in fsh with your team's ID and put them in the data folder

I will most likely make changes in the future, but adding changes straight to the game cant and wont be one of them. To make dbi files straight out of Access would be impossible, so Im not even gonna bother trying. We need a convertor like the one ive heard people say Ariel is working on. This would save a fair bit of effort, and with two lots of Access forms out there (Mine and soon Maniacs) the demand is definaltey there for a Access to dbi convertor.
Maybe this is what EA could provide, if they arent upgrading the CC.

Oh, and BTW what is this great job "guys" business, this one i created by myself Maniacs will be out soon, should be good, competition will only improve both of our products

Hakeem, would you be able to describe how I go about using another teams kit (already in the FIFA default database) to set it to the new team? Which files need moving/renaming etc...

just grab another kit file and rename it with your teams's ID

for example

real madrid home kit:
PlayerKitTexObj.texobj463104248046875__texture23__0_243.fsh


your team home kit:
PlayerKitTexObj.texobj463104248046875__texture23__0_1999.fsh

have you successfully created a new team with the access method?? i have read that there are difficulties.

can u explain how you did it?

are there certain criterias? eg max min players?

what team ids can be used?
