:(

Is Frank De Boer's player ID low enough. Make sure his ID is less than 55000, or it will get it wrong everytime!

Again, try downloading my access forms, and follow the steps in the readme. This will show u step by step how to create players properly, and THEN, with the forms it will make it MUCH easier to add the players in their correct positions etc, because it has a full team listing, using players names and numbers rather than IDs!

Just a quick note again: I cant stress this enough, when u download and have finished installing my forms, rename "link_ptsubform" to "Link_pt subform"
Once you have done this and FULLY followed the readme you should have no problem adding players, and changing lineups!

I still havent set it up properly for adding teams though yet, because ive got to read Hakeems tutorial, and find out how to add flags etc.

no, it does not explain it, it just tells that its a must for the created teams to work to have the kits and flags files. flags are easily to make and inport with flag raptor

YAY! now i can do everything, except for one last thing.

I can add teams, and players without them losing any formations or numbers etc, i can add flags, and kits. The last thing i want to know how to do, is add team logo's.

How do u do this outside of the CC. I have tried before using EA Graph, but it just corrupted the file, and made all the logos white. I think that maybe FIFA 2003's big files are slightly different format then previous years.

So has Hakeem, Lukas, Hercules, or anyone else that knows stuff, how do I add logos to the menu, and to the field (the big ones that appear in the middle after goals and before kick offs).

well another option for access database is the editoorFMBR on fifamania brasil, look at the screenshots:

Great work,
we can now choose the kickers without having to make sums 2 +64 etc...
we can choose the 442 442 ofensive whitout having to look at a table ...
and even change the player´s look in the access form !

And it´s already done, you can download it in http://fifamania.fifaspot.com

You can change formations very easily with my access thing. I havent set it up so that you can do kick takers easily, but I have explained its system fully in the readme.

But yeah, if this editor can do that then its good

Having looked at those screenies, it looks good, BUT there is one major problem, which makes mine (in my opinion) a little better at this stage. That editor looks like you can only choose on kicking position for every player (ie. Only spot kick taker, or only free kick taker). If people wanted this in my editor I could implement it straight away, but i think id rather add up and be able to put ppl to take more then one type of kick!!

You can change everything you can change in that editor in mine, and it is English ;)

If you have already downloaded it, and are having problems or something, OR dont know how to do something post here, or email me!

Its all really quite easy trust me!

The only thing this new editor offers that mine doesnt is the freekick thing without having to add up numbers. And as i said in the above post, this could very well be a bad thing because of the way this is implemented. I COULD change my editor to do it properly, but the effort i would have to put into coding to do it, wouldnt be worth the time it saves in adding together a couple of numbers, which are all listed in the readme!

As I said the formations are also listed properly in mine!

One bug in it, once youve finished the install, rename "link_ptsubform" "link_pt subform" (ie. adding the space).

This was caused by me experimenting trying to get more features to work before the final release, and I forgot to change it back!

But once its changed (adding a space to a name isnt that hard ;)), it is fully funcitonal :)

hehe thanks.
yeah i wasnt paying attention to names, but i remember now that u did originally point out the bug to me.
It was really a bit silly of me to leave it in there.
I was trying to get a button on a form to work, and was experimenting with different form names and their effects. I ended up giving up on the buttons and did it an alternate way. AND forgot to change the name back! Since this was after the testing phase, it didnt get picked up, and I released it straight away.

Anyway, thanks Breamster, and to everyone out there, remember adding a space isnt that hard!
AGAIN: Change "link_ptsubform" to "link_pt subform"

;)

Cool
I see how its been done, and really i wont be adding this in the near future, because basically I think it just isnt worth the effort it saves. It would mean Id have to type in all the possibilites for kick takers, and I really just dont think its worth it. I know an alternate way to do it, which would be a better and "truer" way to do it, but really as I said before the coding just wouldnt be worth it.

As for formations, as i said, my forms also list formations ;)

Anyway, I hope your forms make editing easier, and hopefully they releive the pressure on me answering emails to help ppl with my forms! ;)

Oh BTW. I noticed in the listing of ur teams that u have sorted by number. In my forms I have sorted by position, so that the team is listed as it is in game. I am just suggesting that u do similar. Sorting by number is alright, and good for finding duplicate number but its probably more practical to find sort by position so that u can see ur teams starting lineup more easily.

Special moves and other "editable" stuff

Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody out there managed to assign special moves to new players. You probably noticed by now that some of the stars in teams like Zidane, Davids, Toti, Del Piero... have special moves (mostly dribbling, 180...). Does anyone know if we can "assign" those special moves to new players or are those hard coded ? I've looked everywhere and can't seem to find anything on this.

Also for the faces, is there a way to alter/edit faces that you've assigned to new players - I know there is a way to do that for existing players by playing with the dplyrtex.big as stated in one of the tutorial, but what about new "generic" faces that you've just created and that you want to alter a bit ?

Thanks for your help as usual.

Again thanks for the compliments skip and we also find your version a good one.
Sorry for the formations, i don´t speak very well english, yes you have it, about the kick takers we disagree with you and think it worth the work if you can do it your way, it is even better and we hope to see it , it would be really nice and more friendly interface.

Well, that´s all for now , the english version is coming soon.

Bye

How to add INGAME logos ???

As sKIp_E mentionned :

How to add ingame logos outside of the CC. I have also tried it using EA Graph with no success. Basically how to import team_tXXXX.abg into team.abg ?? This is to have the logos on the popups and on the field during the match...

Anybodyyyyy ???
