not me obviously. the Corolla was 20k when we bought it, so it's not that huge of a step up.

oh and thanks CoolerMaster. love your Scirocco, it's one of my favorite hatches together with the Civic from that period or earlier.

20k on a fucking Corolla? I've bought (well my parents bought it as a present for Collage) my current car in 2007 too. It's 07 Renault Megane II hatch (I'll post some pics later) and the costs were around 13k. Mind you it's pretty much a full option. And now I'd be happy if I could flip it for 5000. If I manage to do that, and with some money I have saved, I'm gonna try and get a second-hand Volvo C30. I've seen some nice ones go for around 13k.

And yeah, the Scirocco is amazing. Love that car.

Gets me from A to B.

Nice car, but that would be so unpractical over here. I can't imagine owning one.

I wouldn't even recommend it, specially with gas prices. At best, it only gives me 12mils /Gallon whereas a small car can give you up to 30 miles per gallon. I'm looking to trading it for a much smaller car.

I used to own this car, until it was totaled in an accident. I loved that car :(

that truck is real pretty in white, i always liked those rams even though i'm not much of a pickup lover.

i have an 02 civic turbo'd with some other mods done to it, it's about 300 hp to the crank and 275 to the wheels, stock it was around 127 hp.

i'll take some pictures after i wash it this weekend.

Of course I know how to drive stick. The red car was a Racing type series and it only came in that model, which is the only way such cars are meant to be in.

yeah well it was like 19k and something. full-option and the biggest engine available here. I checked their site and the current Auris is 19.3k with everything included and the same 2.0 diesel engine I have.

Do you guys in America know how to drive stick like real men do?

i have only owned 1 automatic transmission, everything else 5 and 6 speeds.

i prefer manual over automatic any day because i can control power, gas mileage and repairing them myself requires a lot less work then an automatic does.

Well, guess you guys aren't as clueless as I thought. My ignorant perception was that just a very small percentage of Americans know how to drive stick, like 1 in 10 or something like that.

Looks like the Mexican is the only one. But he doesn't even need to know, it's not like lawn mowers have manual transmission.
