The NBA along with the "leaders" of Seattle should be ashamed for letting this happen. It's a f*cking travesty.

Maybe one positive thing will come of it though. Instead of yet another division reshuffle (would be 3rd in what like 6-7 years?) maybe the NBA will just decide to have the two conferences and then allow the best 16 teams overall to qualify for the playoffs.

imo there's no need for that. What is really needed tho is for all the teams to play against each other the same amount of times. This x2 times more games with same conf. teams ain't right.

hey, do you guys think that Kobe is being overused in LA? I've been watching a ton of the West Coast pgames this year simply because it's the best thing on tv bar none and I've gotten to see quite a few of the Laker's games. Anyway, I realize that you can't afford to lay off the pedal in what is probably the greatest playoffs race ever in any sport, but this dude seems to play every last second of every game. And with his drive-to-the-basket and very physical style, he gets punished a lot. I fear that they're gonna be regretting this come playoffs time, man......this dude really needs a break.....too bad Ariza is injured, eh?

btw, regarding the Warrior's pathetic effort against the Nuggets last night......boy was that shockingly bad both from an effort standpoint and coaching aswell.....DONNIE.....SMALLBALL DOESNT ALWAYS WORK, YOU ******* DRUNKARD!! Most other halfway competent teams would've blownout the Warriors by atleast 20 last night, but because the Nuggets have arguably the worst defence in the league, they made it much closer than it should've been.

Monta Ellis.....what's his market value? This dude torched Kidd and anyone else they put infront of em last night, man. Holy**** is he an absolute nightmare, eh? He's physically more gifted than a young Iverson and has a much more developed perimetergame than 'em. His biggest weakness right now is his dribbling skills, but because he's so ridiculously quick and athletic, he doesn't really require an advanced dribbling game....a slight faint of the shoulder and he's gone past yah.....the dude is an absolute blur out there on the court.

I agree with you Yoss, Golden State has become my favorite non-raptor team. They are just so fun to watch, I like how most of their players have the same style - can shoot, drive, be athletic, rebound, fast, tough.

GS are my fav team to watch since they started that run of theirs in last years 2nd half of the reg season. Like i heard some dude on tv say few days ago, they look like the suns 2 years ago but on steroids (H)!!
and if Baron steps up a bit and starts playing like he did in last years playoffs... man.

Too bad any good west team with a good center can kick their ass in the playoffs tho... :p :(

---Baron's been averaging more than 20pts per game and he's also been extremely clutch this year, bro.....what more do you want from 'em?

----you've already made the assertion that small ball basketball is what led them to getting routed by the Jazz in last year's playoffs, and I might be inclined to agree with you that small ball can be susceptible to a true centre, but was that the cause of their poor outing against the Jazz in last season's playoffs? My memory is pathetic, but I think that they over expended their energies in the Mav series and treated that as their great triumph. That coupled with Donnie being out-coached and refusing to make any adjustments to Sloan's impeccably efficient system------his unconventional, all out gung-ho style is as much a liability as it is an effective strategy.....he's just too stubborn to adjust when there's an opposing player, especially a big, who's exposing and overwhelming his small lineup.

I don't think that they're gonna get man-handled (if they do make it in) by any particular team in the West so long as they make the proper adjustments/substitutions and make appropriate use of Biedrins and Harrington. Biedrins is highly under-utilized in Donnie's system, yet he makes the most of the time he's alloted. Imagine if actual plays were being run for this kid? There's no reason why he can't be a solid double/double player in this league, but because the perimeter players on that team have a staggeringly disproportionate share of the offence doled out to 'em, he and Harrington have to live off of measly scraps most of the times.

i think that spree came in on the tail end of the RUN-TMC and then Webber was drafted the year after that.

Anyway, they didnt accomplish much, but they were immensely entertaining to watch---the entire West was like that actually. It was all about the run and gun/smallball style of play.

btw.....Mullin.......HOF? Maybe it's just the rush of great memories and sentiment that's coming back to me, but that paleface could sure ball, man.

I think that im gonna go purchase a pair of old skool Nikes and put their names on 'em just to honor them, you know? Early 90s style.....hurhur

What a heroic return by Dirk though, eh? I watched the game where he sustained that injury live and I seriously believed it to be a season ender...I hope that he doesn't jeopardize his playoff play from diminished output related to this astonishingly quick return, man.

about the Warriors, I think that you're correct in your assessment of them being done. Their big three have all been logging ridiculous amounts of time this whole season and Baron and Carlos*son have both been gimping through games for the past month or so....it's truly a miracle that Baron's knees have held up for this long. They've both lived up to the warrior creed, but there just hasnt been enough contribution from the bench this year for them to make one last drive for a playoff berth.........also, Donnie's a ******* idiot and should be fired immediately after their season is over....no wonder why players love playing for him so much. He demands absolutely no accountability from them on the defensive end, and just lets them run amok without any sense of guidance and discipline.....this is a squad that Carlos*s up a hundred shots on a nightly basis and only manages to somehow produce 8-10 assists....and they're consistently giving up 40+ points in the paint in a single half. That's truly appalling.....you dont even have to be remotely knowledgeable about the defensive side of the game to be completely revolted by how they operate down there, man....on any given play, they've got like 2-3 guys leaking out after the other team has taken a shot.

Is there a player in the league more criminally misused than Biedrins? Boy would I love to trade this kid for Bargs.....doubt the Warriors would be stupid to make the trade, but he's everything that Bargs isn't. He Bangs, rebounds well on both ends, finishes really well under the basket, even when he sustains considerable physical contact.....he's basically a genuine centre, unlike this useless piece of **** we're saddled with, man.
