I think there are AAALOT more important things to talk about that what teams might make the playoffs or how well they're playing...for instance...
Elton Brand coming back to the Clippers after being out for the whole season. If all things go well we shouldn't fall below the 6th worst team in the NBA and we should get a lottery pick somewhere in there too. This is what happens to fan's hopes when you start the season 4-0 and then dissapear from the NBA for the rest of the season.

true true... don't worry man. i'm a cubs fan, i know a lot about futility for an extended period of time. however, unlike the cubs, you have an idiotic owner to blame. still though, there is hope, however glum. brand/kaman is a pretty good combination.

on another note, how bout that MVP race? personally, it's between paul and kobe. i cannot ignore paul's numbers and performance in that ultra tight western conf. for god's sake, it's like a virgin's a$$hole... same goes for Kobe, except he puts up better scoring and rebound numbers, and is a better defender. i put lebron third - absolutely ridicilous numbers, given the fact that his best rebounder is an over the hill ben wallace, and best shooter is sczerbiak... pavlovic has been out, so has boobie, doesn't seem like they are all yet in rhythm. lebron has to be in the race, he is again carrying the whole team on his back (read - last year's playoff series vs detroit) but it's hurting him that his team sucks so much. garnett has to be 4th. numbers are not there, he has missed time, and has too much around him. plus east cannot compare to west conference. i don't care how much better that team is, it's not just him.

I'm with kobe simply because if he ends up not getting even a single MVP... that would be simply the most f%$#^$%@# in nba history

If Seattle ends up without an nba team, well... then they better take out the clippers and give Seattle a new team At Clips are the least important team that i can think of. LA has/is Lakers anyway
