I think 7 spots in the West are already decided:

4 guarantees: Spurs, Clippers, OKC, Memphis
All of these teams are at least .700 (or close to it in Memphis case)

3 very likely: Houston (21-14), GS (22-11), Denver (20-16)

Which leaves the Jazz (18-18), Portland (19-15) and Lakers (15-19) fighting it out for the 8 seed.

Are you still confident that the Lakers are a lock for the playoffs Hisashi?
