Not to mention Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, or Super Smash Bro. N64 was not as bad as everyone thinks. I own PS2 and Xbox aswell but lately all i have played is Perfect Dark, ISS98 and Mario Golf. The console had some very good games.

N64 had it's select few of great games, but I still prefered SNES over it -- mainly because of the abundance of great RPGs it had. N64 barely had any good RPGs, with the exception of Zelda, of course. I was never big on Zelda, though. I like my RPGs turn-based.

Jet Force Gemini was great. That game will stand as my favorite N64 game, ever.

Did you ever play Super Mario RPG on the SNES? That was one of my favourite games.

I've played that one before, but never got around to actually finishing it. But it's defintely quality.

If you liked that game, check out Chrono Tigger. It's the best RPG ever created. CT will keep you entranced, from start to finish. Everything about it is flawless.

Yeah undoubtly Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were hell of a game, but speaking in terms of controlling, a mouse and a keyboard are allways better than a gamepad for FPS.

It's a fun game, but it gets repetitive real quickly. It also has very little replay value. I'm not sure if that game alone is worth buying the system, although they are quite cheap. You could always pick up a used 'Cube.

to be honest though mate, a lot of cube games have the same appeal; brilliant - if often short lived.

you guys are 100% right... If you're gonna get a GC, my advice would be to keep it as a rental game system, you'll really regret it if you buy $50 games for it that you get tired of after 3 days.

you will be able to download Genesis and Turbograf games on the revolution!

from ign.com
Iwata also announced partnerships with Sega and Hudson to offer downloadable access to their classic games via Revolution's Virtual Console. Revolution owners will be able to relive their past gaming glories from the Sega Genesis console by playing a "best of" selection from more than 1,000 Genesis titles, as well as games sold for the TurboGrafx console (a system jointly developed by NEC and Hudson). These games join Revolution's access to 20 years of fan-favorite Nintendo games from the NES(R), Super NES(R) and Nintendo(R) 64 eras.
