Yes you can score some great goals! I think a lot of user are just powering up a shot and smacking it at the keeper without much thought.
If anyone has viewed my video over at http://www.fifa-mra.com/nkfootball, check the latest news and it is in there to link you up to filefront. I don't know how some are shooting, but these goals show how possible it is and V9 will only expand on the range of shooting, despite the goalkeeper being positioned as well as he is! I scored from WAY out yesterday with Ronaldo, keeper at full stretch and it went straight in the top of the goal, just skimming the crossbar. These goalkeepers in V9 are about 20+ digits higher than V8. That is a LOT! Yet I score goals like that...

still find scoring screamers out of my league atm, but after a couple of losing games
england vs brazil i finally beat them 2-1
i started the game with the unusual 4-3-1-2 with joe cole giving way for jermaine defoe which means gerrad is pushed to the LCM position while i preferred shaun-wright phillips over beckham and placed him on the RCM securing lampard's flank. With gerrad and SRW flanking lampard, defore sits right behind the 2 strikers with a CAM role.
well the game started with the commentor cracking some lame jokes and me n the world class brazil enjoyed a equal share of the ball until a half-hearted challenge by terry set ronaldhino clear on goal, i had to pull cole in but was forced to slide tackle from an angel and brazil was given a direct freekick.
ronaldhino was on the ball so i opted for an extra man on the wall, but it was not enough as the ball set flight with a wicked curl and flew right into the top corner.
brazil 1-0 england.
in the second half brazil had only a couple of half chances as they sit back and put more men behind the ball.
2 of the goals i scored were both headers <--- (yea headers which is almost impossible in v8) i had rooney crossing in and owen bulleting the ball goalwards, yea gk was a bit to good, and he managed to palm the ball but wasnt able to stop the ball bouncing into the net.. 2nd goal was a bit of a fluke as the same happened after rooney crossed the ball and owen headed goalwards but gk was sent the wrong way when the ball took a cruel deflection on roberto carlos' should and flew into the net

I play PES, I don't just fire shots on goal from anywhere at max power. We took probably 20 shots with Ronaldinho on his right foot from different positions just outside the box, to see the goalie stretch for it every time, sometimes from impossible dives. This is on Semi-Pro, perhaps a bug, since you say you're scoring on World Class.
Amateur we scored every shot, obviously.

Also, in this video you speak of, there are 5 goals, 2 are from deadball situations, 3 are from the 18 or inside it. I'm speaking of shots form outside the 18, maybe, 20-25 yard shots, that are perfectly possible for Brazilian strikers and midfielders, yet we score, never. I could understand if it was say Tunisia and we couldn't score on Dida, but we're using Brazil vs Venezuela, and not scoring a single shot outside the 18.

Well not to worry since goalkeepers in V9 will be improved over V8. Like I said, the options and different ways of scoring will be much better.

Ok, just tested the hours of editing and the goalkeepers are much better. Practice mode with Brazil, difficult to keep shots down and direct, still hard to beat the keeper, but hit some scorchers into the back of the net! I might make it harder still.

yep, cuz in v8 its kinda hard to keep the ball down on a header, but anyway NK is it still possible to score lobbing headers ? haha cuz many of my headers have been dead straight now which i like but i went to play 11vs11 soccer with my friends and realize that lobbing headers are still pretty much in the game .. just a thought

**CPU shooting has improved a lot
**The ball physics are faster now, ball is heavier...more realistic ball bounces and reactions
** CPU defence is tighter
** balancing of goalkeepers better, CPU keeper hard to beat and USER keeper best have a good defence in front of him! Can still score great goals past CPU keeper.
** CPU attacks quicker
** (the BIG one) - Directing a header much easier. CPU will take advantage of it.
** CPU crosses and passes are much more improved now.
I think V9 is starting to feel a bit like V3.

the tuning for V9 keepers is spot on! I've just recorded two games and will upload them asap together (probably a big download), both are 8 minute games on world class, but let me tell you these were exciting and fun games! The goal I scored with Barcelona is fantastic!! and I think you'll think so too, especially when you get to play V9 and play it for yourself.

I'm uploading the Barcelona V real Madrid video, great game. The improvements over the CPU, ball physics, shooting and all that is noticeable over V8. I'm still tuning it too.

watch the new video now, full match...a BLOODY GREAT goal scored by me! lol, I had to swear, everytime I watch the goal I think 'GET IN!!!!'. It's a great shot, especially for how difficult it is to score one...but holy cow is it rewarding!!!
