it looks like there is a problem with FIFA that goalkeepers arnt programmed save balls that are going to hit the posts. is there anyway to solve that?

It's instinct for me, I see a player run towards me and I shift the right stick and press the walk button. A lot of the moves I do all come to me when I'm in the zone, but it's hard to explain how to do them. The one I do the most is this one, when you're sprinting, just flick the right stick backwards in the opposite direction of your running player and he will flick the ball back and run onto it, kinda looks like a Giggs move.

lol, I remember when I REALLY got into shifting away from attacks and my friend said 'you move like they do!' and I was like 'who are they?' and he goes 'the computer' hahahaha FIFA Matrix!

But yeah if you want me to make a vid just showing sum cool moves then say so n' i'll get into practice to refresh my memory. all I've done all these months is edited mostly, rather than got down and played the game over and over and over.

I just lost to spain as brazil 5-0 on world class v9. Might need some tuning, they were a bit TOO accurate, but I bet it's my defence and most of you hardcore players' could hold off the cpu attacks.

well perhaps thats the only way to challenge an expert gamer. When both cpu and user values are equal, the 'expert' gamer will beat the cpu. But as ea sports make the game both for 06 and even the world cup game on th xbox 360, the cpu/user values follow the same style as my v9 currently does and yeah it makes it harder...only mine is the extreme! You can still score, as you saw in the barcelona v real madrid game, and when you do score it's rewarding as hell! But say if you play again with different teams and don't concentrate enough or put enough effort in...then yeah i think you should loose 5-0! That way you've got something to beat, something that's challenging you, frustrating you and when you beat that game, or in this case win the match...it'll be rewarding. I want to make it fun!!

some of you may also like to know that the curl on the ball is much more affective now and much more noticeable. By adding more curl to the ball, it looks more realistic.

ok, so I just created my own tourny' knockout with 16 international teams, most of them the best in the game, as england...and had France for the first game. I didn't use tactics, I thought 'they won't beat me if I try hard enough'....guys....I....just....lost....9-0!!!!!! THEY SCREWED ME UP!!! You know how the V8 defence is better, but the attack lacked? Yeah, well know the attack is bloomin clever and the defence aint half bad either! Not only had their shooting got better, but passing also. Plus, the CPU keeper is about 200+ digits LOWER than in V8 for V9, so you CAN score some lovely goals like the one you saw in the barca v madrid game, but i just couldnt put the ball in the back of the net.

V9 is all about tactics and defending...if you don't defend well and have good attacking tactics, this is what happens lol. 9-0, flippin' eck! But the good thing is, is it gives the game a learning curve now, unlike before. Sure, right now it seems unfair and unrealistic. Truth be told I'm not good enough! So what do you do? Lower the difficulty level! And I have made levels such as semi-pro and professional much more playable. World class and legendary will be for hardcore players' who know what they're doing.

I play with your gameplay, and I don't like that in career mode the stadiums aren't well packed.

The second is: The keepers always react the same and you almost can't score a screamer because the keepers are to good. The variaty of shots is allso little. I can only score in the rebound on Legendary. Once you made the shots like this that they could be miles over de goal. Please do that. Allso the goalkeeperskicks has to be longer, and maybe higher. And I can't feel a difference between good and bad players. Even playing with Ronaldinho isn't so good. If you want to score a nice goal your striker needs 99 99 for shooting, so that isn't wel done.. Please fix all these things.

Allso the defenders suck, Rooney can beat them to easily, van Nistelrooy to. The defenders allso make almost no runs, the same on the midfield. You can't play very nice combination football. And I love that.

a lot of goalkeeper tuning has already and will continue to be done! The shooting is much more balanced now.

CPU players' can shoot better than in V8 and attack better. It may also depend if you're in a tournament to how hard the CPU tries to win.

im thinkin of makin headers hard again because it's too easy to just crack it in the back of the net.....much too often.

no, i think its good now, since the keepers gonna be even harder, that will make me lose interest in making headers again. afterall, arent the keepers forever ready in a position to save a shot or header ?

id rather watch the player miss the header than the keeper making a superhuman save

pls pls pls pls NK, dont make the headers too hard as well... keep it balanced, in v8 almost all headers went outside no matter where i shot them from. the only way i could overcome this was to use the W button to take a crack at those headers.....i hope it wont b too hard...

I played with your v8 gameplay and really love it. Good balance, realistic speed, so challenging!
Played one season in wclass with Botafogo (Brasilean league) and an other one with Real Madrid (Liga), got some tough losses, easy wins, frustrating draws! Good work dude, you're on the right track.
Only one thing NK: am I the only one to notice that most of the time when the keeper throws the ball on the side, it goes wide outside?

i got that same problem as well....... happens a lot. i just stopped throwing the ball. i just drop it and pass it away or lob it straight. NK, was that meant to be??
