Update net framework and and select the game folder full not the individual "Game" folder

Yes the database will be updated so the formations will be lost, you will need to do it again

Open "FIP Tournament Manager" inside Game folder and click Install career mode compdata

I'm having a glitch in career mode 4th season where south American players are not returning from international break, and since you can't select them for matches they get really demoralized.

Yes so thats a problem with the theme, it has been mentioned before , use another theme create new settings and play until a fix is released
