just play in old stadiums.. if you want to play in new stadiums, you need to download those first..

This shouldn't be happening if you have the FIP stadium pack installed. I did assign tournament final venues according to real life situations for some cup competitions but you can easily add any stadium of your choice or remove the option in the settings file. In the case of the UEFA Super cup, the assigned stadium is Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium (ID 48).

Can I install the facepack after doing everything else? Or do I have to start over?

You cannot play career mode with real groups in the first season because the structure changed to accommodate the conference league. You can only play with real groups in tournament mode.
