Yeah, it's a tragedy that a team that got 8 points out of 10 matches didn't make the WC.

Yeah, this speaks more about the shittyness of the CONCACAF more than anything. Wouldn't surprise me if they decided to re-evluate the WC spots.



Oh yeah, Mexico fired another coach because he apparently wanted to drop Ochoa and Chicharito for the games against NZ. Those two are marketing giants, so the promoters bitched, and the directors decided to fire Vucetich. This team is rotten from top to bottom.

So it seems that it's going to be Club America vs New Zealand. Wonder how this will play out for those that can't stand that team. Or because it's the NT, people won't care.

I think they're divided. On one side you have a lot of people that are fed up of the federation, the sponsors, and all the people that butt in and have their hands in the pot (club owners, execs, investors). The other are sheep that think America will be the saviors of the national team and that fat midget will be the Messiah that will lead us to the World Cup with a strong unit.


I have no expectations. At this point I don't really care as the team is in shambles and if they do make the World Cup unless something drastic happens, this team is gonna go three and done. Part of me wants to see this team crash and burn, the other part of me still hopes they'll miraculously find their form come next summer.

It's a pretty ballsy move to only call up players from the Liga MX. But, if they do it to underestimate the Kiwis; it may cost Mexico stupendously.

looks like Mexico made it to the World Cup with a 1st leg score of 5 - 1. what a game by Cepillo, Layun, and Marquez.

unlikely we will see the return of many european based players if Piojo stays for the world cup and beyond since he would like to continue until the 2018 process.

hopefully things will not be forgotten and heads will still roll in the Mexican federation although very unlikely anything will happen.

if Piojo stays, unlikely that will happen. plus they did not qualify Mexico to the world cup hell not even to the play off vs new zealand.

if he did and probably because of pressure from the mexican federation, that would be a dick move. but will probably call back a few, maybe Reyes/ex america, Moreno, and Chicharito.

the rest very unlikely he will call up specially giovani who already had a verbal confrontation with Piojo.

I really hope he doesn't stay. This is fucking New Zealand. This proves very little, and people are already thinking Piojo is the Chosen One. Talk about a short memory.
