for christ sakes, when this stupid discussion will end?? :kader:

CHARGE IN THE SMALL BOX IN THE KEEPER IS FOUL! always foul no matter if the touch is hard or not. IT'S ALWAYS FOUL! if the english don't agree, write a letter to the International Board to change the rule.

If football is a non contact sport, then why is the shoulder charge legal?

shoulder charges are only legal if both players do it simultaneously. If one player shoulder charges the other, it WILL be a foul

lol, i can't believe this discussion ain't over LOL

dude, England lost and went home earlier, period. I like your NT and I love the premiership, i respect english football a lot, somehow more than portuguese football (until this new porto-mania, of course), but please stop giving me the idea that you are retards when it comes to loosing...

Ok let´s end this now. It seems that they have already made up their minds and won´t change their opinion no matter what. I don´t understand why we should take all this time and effort to convince anyone. We won, 90% of the ppl thinks we deserve it so let´s end this now shall we? How about we analyze the France vs Greece, Czech vs Denmark or the Sweden vs Holland upcoming matches? Sounds like a better hobby.

FFS, the rule states that you can't use a COLLEAGUE to help you get to a ball.. That's what sol campbell did, Two infractions on one play. now shut the **** up retard.

monkee, i'm glad you've seen the truth

PS. Soccer IS a non-contact sport.
RUGBY, HOCKEY and FOOTBALL ARE CONTACT SPORTS

contact sports are sports where hitting the opposition is legal. It's obviously not legal in soccer/football
for your information, ibrahimovic WAS inside the 6 yard area of the goalie
however, i saw the game on ****ty quality so i wouldnt know if it passed the line (the portugal effort cleared off the line). if it did, then wow this game had so many mistakes in it

The penalties loss is a bitter pill to swallow though, we've gone out of 4 of the last 6 major competitions this way.
I know it's cos we don't have the marbles on the night, but it's just very bitter....

To go out this way is a lot harder to take than when we lost to Brazil in Japan.

I have no animosity towards Portugal or the fans.

People complaining about the ruled off goal could shut up. It's football, you win some, you lose some. For me it was a foul, since Terry prevented Ricardo from getting to the ball (even if it was unintentionally). England won a world cup back in 1966, and if i'm not mistaken, in the goal that resulted in the title, the ball didnt go in. Let's bring that up again then? No. So stop bringing that god damn ruled off goal.

It wasnt England's day, period. Portugal deserved the win today, as much as England deserved the win in that WC, back in 1966, regardless of referee mistakes (yeah, mistakes, referees are human beings and are allowed to make mistakes, face it).
