Why is Lukaku ****? I can see why you might not like him, since he's a physical specimen above anything else, but I'm positive that he will become a 'Yayista' as you put it. He has good technique, he needs polish, but he has good technique and it's a matter of time before he becomes an unplayable forward. Once he consistently starts coverting chances and getting precision to his headers, I have no doubt that he will be one of the best forwards in the world. He's pretty good passer, too, I've been impressed with how many chances he has created for others at West Brom so far.

I don't like Lukaku, he lack of talent to become a Yayista. Let's see if he can "at least" score goals but i think the Drogba comparasion is bad for him and Roman is in love with Cavani and Falcao...

EDIT: i don't know about McEachran but Hazard-Mata-Oscar trio is the next big thing, only if Chelsea coach could create a context for their talent to flow... Mikel-Ramires is by far the worst CMF pair in elite teams and Torres doesn't help.

Drogba and Yaya took a long time to emerge as stars. Drogba wasn't even at Marseille until he was like 26 years old.

I know, Yaya was incredible at Olympiakos though.

BTW, Lewandowski is an amazing #9 and would ******* fit in Chelsea or Juventus.

Yes, Lewandowski is good and would probably not be too expensive either. 20m Euros or less I think. He also wants to go to a bigger club and that isn't exactly a secret.

He worth more than 20m... how many years of contract left? BvB direct football is all activated by Lewandowski. Reus, Götze, Subotic and Hummels are better players because of him.

Bah, that Thiago guy again, you have even more of a hard on for him than you do for your German boys.

Thiago is a fantasista, there are only few players like him, don't dislike him just because he's from Barcelona...

2014. Lewandowski was trying to force a move this summer too. If a club like Juve or Chelsea contacted his agent, he would force his way out by January. He'll probably go for 15m or less this summer because he won't extend his contract.

No mention of James? That kid is legit.

Edit: never mind, it's on Shifty's top 10.

double edit: Alexis has been mostly a disappointment from what I've seen.

Some names from the top of my head:

Messi, Neymar, Thiago, Isco, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Hazard, Oscar, Montoya (a long shot, but I really think he could become a world class defender), Alaba, Litmanen.

Lukaku is overrated. I mean he's great and he's just 19 but he hasn't done enough yet to be considered one of the "best players of the future".

Sure he can. If we only considered accomplished players we would be ignoring a lot of excellent players. You can loom at the qualities a playervpossesses and predict that once he develops he will be something special. Lukaku is one of those players.

I think he can but its hard to tell that he will become one of the "best players of the future" yet. Players like Mikel or Anderson were also considered the same when they were the same age but they haven't progressed much.
