Just cause it would piss you off doesnt mean it wont happen. Navas will make th jump to a bigger club sooner or later wether it hurts your or not. Althought I do think this particular story is just Marca being bored.....and again, I love how you guys atribute whatever Inda says to Real Madrid management/personel etc. Just cause Marca (who clearly pursues their own agenda) puts it up it doesnt mean it came from a person within Madrid, specially something like this.

Marca are only trying to sell papers, and navas will probably stay at sevilla for a few seasons, but will eventually go when his value starts to drop.

That's my point. I don't think there is any source for this, just a ploy to sell paper.

I wasn't pissed when I read this, I laughed. I've always been aware of our talent's tendency to go to bigger teams (Alves, Keita, Ramos, etc.), but Navas is different. He suffered for years from anxiety just on road games... there is no way he is making a permanent move elsewhere until *possibly* at the end of his career. I guarantee you that no Sevilla fan is the least bit worried about Navas leaving. It won't happen.

edit: I've got it. Sevilla is taking on Madrid in a week and a half, Madrid is just trying to stir some sh*t up to destabilize Sevilla and/or fabricate more storylines for themselves.

EXACTLY!!! Marca does this ALL THE TIME when teams take on Real Madrid. It's kinda like that here in America, with "Favre Watch" and all.

Marca are a bit suspect anyway aren't they? I don't know a great deal about La Liga related things but I heard they photoshopped Sergio Canales onto a Real kit and put it front page. This was before he'd moved lol.

Navas will probably stay at Sevilla because of his home sickness (or whatever it is). Good player though.

Mind games are always a big part of Marca and Real Madrid especially for big games and transfers.

How many time they said Ronaldo agreed all personal terms before the official transfer!!!

I am loyal to Man United. However, that loyalty is fading away the longer Glazer is in charge. He should've stuck to being the owner of arguably the worst NFL team ever.

He does not own the Detroit Lions...

I know, I was joking, but they're clearly not the worst team. They've had several winning seasons in the past decade and won a Super Bowl. The Lions on the other hand...

Today I saw Faubert picture for the first time (not before, coz he was so effective for Real).

Navas says that he is flattered by Real Madrid's interest which means one of three things:

1. He is open to the idea of going to Madrid (which I still think is the least likely)
2. He isn't shutting the door on Madrid so that the press continues to hype him up before the World Cup
3. He is putting more pressure on Sevilla to give him a bigger contract.

He'll leave. I doubt Sevilla will have enough funds to keep him long term.

I question whether he wants to leave. He has gotten over his anxiety issues, but I don't know that he's ready to leave his hometown. I think it's still important to him to be in a city and locker room that he is comfortable with.
