And pass speed slider setting really matters, it should be left to individual user, with recommended setting of yours.
Really good one, for the first time I was killing time towards the end of the match for the sake of holding the lead, and biting nails (virtually) towards the end.

yea bro the pass speed slider setting was chosen to blend w/ the ai i designed, you can use whatever setting you like but the results will vary incredibly.
what teams were playing when you were trying to hold the lead ?

And, I've managed to reduce it by putting CPU Run Freq. and Line Length sliders to 70 (65 works too). Now, they've more options upfront and therefore they make passes instead of the.... well, you know!
line length is fine, but i have cpu sliders at 25 & all they do is pass all day.
as far as not wanting to play w/ a modded db your at a loss cause thats really the only way your going to get good results & considering ea's db really isnt that accurate as far as player ratings should be (bale for example is severely underrated) i took the liberty of fixing it for them.
all i know is my file & db completely change the game.
there is fifa 12 then there is my game, i usually dont talk this way about my work but im excited about what i have done & if its like i had developed & released a game to the max i could w/ limitations i was given.
i released a gameplay last year which was very realistic but not used by most due to the ratings forumla i used, which was everyones loss because the game became super realistic.
there comes a time where players need to stop worrying whether or not messi is a 94 & cronaldo is a 94 & realize that ratings are just numbers & mean nothing when you can play a game that looks like you are watching a match on tv.
the ng versions of fifa were developed w/ the fact that db & gameplay values go hand in hand.
if you edit one you must edit the other & thats just the way it is.
