RC, today's version perhaps is the best. Long shot frequency is really decreased slightly. Regarding the second problem I never got that in earlier version as well (barring once), so I cannot comment on this. Positioning of the players during that situation is slightly wrong.

I just cannot stop playing, so much variations.

And pass speed slider setting really matters, it should be left to individual user, with recommended setting of yours.

Really good one, for the first time I was killing time towards the end of the match for the sake of holding the lead, and biting nails (virtually) towards the end.

I'm not interested in playing with a modded db. Is there ANYTHING that can be done via sliders to stop the CPU dribbling/walk-around inside the box?

And, I've managed to reduce it by putting CPU Run Freq. and Line Length sliders to 70 (65 works too). Now, they've more options upfront and therefore they make passes instead of the.... well, you know!

are we talking about the problems in vagure5's post or the issues we discussed ?

yea bro the pass speed slider setting was chosen to blend w/ the ai i designed, you can use whatever setting you like but the results will vary incredibly.

what teams were playing when you were trying to hold the lead ?

line length is fine, but i have cpu sliders at 25 & all they do is pass all day.

as far as not wanting to play w/ a modded db your at a loss cause thats really the only way your going to get good results & considering ea's db really isnt that accurate as far as player ratings should be (bale for example is severely underrated) i took the liberty of fixing it for them.

all i know is my file & db completely change the game.
there is fifa 12 then there is my game, i usually dont talk this way about my work but im excited about what i have done & if its like i had developed & released a game to the max i could w/ limitations i was given.

i released a gameplay last year which was very realistic but not used by most due to the ratings forumla i used, which was everyones loss because the game became super realistic.

there comes a time where players need to stop worrying whether or not messi is a 94 & cronaldo is a 94 & realize that ratings are just numbers & mean nothing when you can play a game that looks like you are watching a match on tv.

the ng versions of fifa were developed w/ the fact that db & gameplay values go hand in hand.

if you edit one you must edit the other & thats just the way it is.

About the issues we discussed, and the two issues are those u were looking after in this latest iteration. Of these, long shots frequency is really decreased to a slight extent, and the second issue I never faced in this version (faced only once in the last version). What I feel regarding this is the positioning of the players in this dead ball situation is wrong or misleading which is producing such errors.

Pass speed - it should not be 50 for sure, I found it right with the range I mentioned, but that is personal taste.

Regarding holding the lead? Surprisingly I was Barca playing against Real, it was the last set of testing teams left. Found really tough to hold a 2-1 lead throughout the second half of extra time, Ozil and Ronaldo was killing me, only thanks to Pique and luck and tiki-taka that I saved the match.

i havent faced it in this version either, you mention players in dead ball situations is wrong, are we talking about this latest file set or the last ?

35 is the limit in my eyes, it slows the passes down & also makes the ball feel heavier.

ronaldo will skill move you do death if he has space anywhere inside 25 meters, its gotten to the point where i just foul him & take my chances w/ the wall, sometimes it does its job & when it doesnt he buries the fk.

I don't know why but when I've installed your patch before, I couldn't choose Sevilla and Auxxere because the game was crashing at all time. What might be wrong?

for the corrected names you just need the loc folder, if those 2 teams are crashing check the stadiumnames in dbm12 for [] or to see if the names are longer than 24 characters.

RC, could you do a db that just increases the AI's amount of fouls and leaves the the remainder of gameplay as it is?

If a player has 45 in crossing if i put PASS_ATTRIBUTE_CROSSING= 1.5 will it be 1.5 times better (in crossing) than his real ability?
If i put -1 to SKILLS MENTAL ATTRIBUTE does it mean that the cpu will read his real value or not?

in the thread exocyst created i said ill release a patch or share codes but the values & how it works is on you.

everyone made the choice & i stand firm where i am.

Hi Regularcat. It seems that this mod does not support in the winter transfer. It always crashes when I download the updates of winter transfer. Do u have any solution to it? Thanks :)

I'm sorry, I mean this unlicensed league, team & tournament names. I already download it, copy to the specified folder and run the fifa regenerator. It works but the thing is I can't update the new winter rooster update. Solutions?

yea the files dont match.

just download fifac's winter transfers db & use the loc folder from my mod.

this is proving very difficult on full manual. the AI rips you to pieces when you give the ball away which you can appreciate is more on manual controls. Also it feels as though the AI defender always catches up with my forward when attacking , both on same accel and sprint speed. For example downing had a good 5 yards on song yet song caught up and took the ball off him. May have to try some more tonight with different players
