v.5 is the file where i broke down defensive aspects per backs, mids and forwards.

you think v.5 tops both base, v.3 and v.3.5 ?

Yeah. Definitely. By default fifa games have always felt the same. PES always had that each game is different feeling. With your ai, I can't complain. Really digging it.

Regular , please add in your Final release long shot attempts of Cpu Ai.

It's horrible to watch every Game as Goalie , and no Range Shots are taken no matter whic Team is Playing ;(

Tested the last day's alot of Cl.ini changed from 1.5 to 1.3 Fifa with many other Playstyles and Databaes... there is really no long distance Attempts... ( too much tiki-taka on booth side's)

Here is my review;

Difficulty : legendary
half time: 10 minutes
all sliders are default.
game speed: slow
only kick-off matches been played.

i really loved the gameplay w/clv3. Compared to vanilla , the defensive positioning & mentality is way more better. Better physical contact between players, more & effective passing by ai, ai takes more shot decisions when they see an avaible space for shot. and possible to see some long range attempts by ai. thats good.

finally i can see that the effective wing play by ai. now they cross the ball & effective wing playing, cut inside, some 2-1 passes & good finishing moments.

keeper reactions are better.
game pace tempo is good & really fluid gameplay. i really enjoyed with v3.
passing game, organization & buil-up play by ai is really good overall.
i never felt a cpu cheat or script. which allows me to get a better gamplay experience. there is a balance between difficulty - enjoy.

but i cant say some things for v3.5. no way to defend the passing traffic of ai, sometimes my players never attempt to fight for the ball, nobody go to the win airballs.

no matter what team is your opponent. all ai opponent teams are dominating the game always. this situation makes me upset. i cant enjoy the game with v3.5.
i felt ai cheats-scripts so visible. if they decited to score, i cant stop them. it's almost totally opposite compared to v3.

game pace tempo is fast even on slow speed. physical contacts are less, especially defenders are not much close to their oppnents compared to both of vanilla & v3 ini. which kills my gaming experience.
easy to score by cpu ai. they can easily find a space on my box unlike v3.
passing, effective wing play & crosses by cpu, shot decisions & good shooting positions for cpu are still exist same as v3.

perhaps some situations that i've mentioned above are caused by the latest 1.5 EA update. im not sure about that. yesterday i've played some online season matches. it makes me sick, upset too much. you never know about how bad feelings about this gameplay. i was about attempt to uninstall the game.
in past, vanilla 1.3 & 1.4 gameplay are pretty good. for some reason they messed up the gameplay with latest 1.5 update. no way to enjoy the game like before.
however i never want to talking about the player career mode gameplay structure (vanilla, never tried player career with regularcat's ai) worst cpu ai programming ever i've seen on fifa series.

Tested the beta V3 for a few days now and i am satisfied.

It's way more fun to play just a quick kick-off game.
More realistic, CPU has no more superglue on their boots, so a more an open game is created.

Good work cat, looking forward to full release.

want this beta aswell, sounds good what people say about it.

The default gameplay is soo easy to beat cpu-ai with single runs from way back from the defense with a defense player and shoot a goal.... and this on legendary lol.

Still playing with RG's AI.
Still feels great.
I have to say that I prefer V3 instead of V 3.5.
Don't ask me why. It's all about personal feelings.
I tweaked a couple of sliders to adjust gameplay to my personal style and It's the best experience I've had so far with Fifa 15

I have not played fifa with your cl but I could try other versions and all feel the same.
There are few shots of AI. They pass a lot near to the box and finally score. We need a IA that shot shoot outside the box and that make long passes and be dynamic.

I don´t Know that if its possible, and maybe i am asking you for "fantasy things" but its my opinion. And sorry for my english xd

Trust me we all want the ai long shots fixed but its just hard to do so. One time you think you've got it and the next game you don't. Fifa is just weird with huge randomizer it runs before each game.

Paulv I tried your last cl and I think it's great, and I received lot of shots from outside too! I noticed that it depends from the player the AI is using!
Really enjoing so much fifa with you cl!
Now waiting for this one too, wanna try it.

I've been using regcat's patch, mostly v.3 and v.9 lately..


Legendary, 8 minutes, sliders has been set due to regcat's recommendations..


v.9 has great offensive variety.. AI plays nice one-two's and first time shots, I even conceded a loose ball volley.. defensively, all is good except the game's casual fuck ups.. I mean wild clearences if you're applying pressure to opposition RB/LB, time wasting starting too early when you're losing... not enough fouls, too many shots back off the post etc..

v.3 feels better overall, AI build up passing is very, I mean very good.. less wild clearences by the AI RB/LB.. also, I don't know about you but I've experienced many long shots by the AI, some of them going in, some of them going back off the post.. also, I've managed to get the AI GK sent off two times in a row.. very realistic and very satisfying..

I've already shared these with regcat, and he told me he's working on to unite v.3 base with v.9's offensive variety, and in the meantime he's trying to add more features like more fouls and stuff..


for me, he's nailed it this year and I really feel great respect for him enhancing the game thus far..
