Holland will be happy with a draw whereas Romania need to win. I think our defense is strong enough to withstand Holland's attack but I'm a little worried about our attackers.... hopefully they'll get the job done.

Heh I love how everyone is saying that Chivu will score because they don't really know any of the other players :D. Anyway my prediction is Romania 1-0 Holland, Mitea to score the goal.

Yes I've heard but trust me (and he said this in an interview), getting selected for this match is his chance of scoring and then making a return to the Ajax starting 11 so I think that just in the pressure of the moment even if he doesn't get the start he's gonna come onto the pitch and score for us.

I don't think so. The only time we'll be happy with a draw in this qualification group is when we play the Czechs in Prague. Especially since we gave away 2 points against Macedonia.

No way we'll be happy with a draw..

I just read that Romania has only scored once against Holland in their entire history.. Holland scored 12. So the odds are with us.. for what thats worth

Which is exactly why you'll be happy with a draw. Hell, if you can't even beat Macedonia, how do you expect to beat Romania? (H)

Chivu isn't injured? BTW do you mean Cosmin Contra, Steaua or is Comin Contra some other guy?

BTW I also predict a Holland victory, but not a 4-0 thrashing. Perhaps a 1-0 win with RvN or Van der Vaart scoring.

Robben should start indeed. Van der Vaart should be in the stands. The national team isn't there for pussies like him to get back in shape or to recapture form. Van Nistelrooij should play as our deep striker, together with Kuijt, with Robben hanging on the left flank. My team would be:

--Landzaat -Van Bommel - Cocu (if injured play Sneijder)
