he scored for 1-0 today....

We left it kind of late but a 2-0 victory is pretty good I think, other than the 5-0 loss to Turkey, Moldova has been a pretty tough squad to beat in their group (2-2 with Bosnia, 2-0 loss at Norway, 1-0 loss vs Greece).

I hope they boys are ready for Holland!

Your going to lose guys it's that simple, hard but simple, we beat Russia with 4-1 today and we weren't even complete, 4 to 7 players didn't even play because of injuries or personal reasons. (van Persie, Robben, van der Sar to name a few) but Seedorf played and was awesome for us and in the 2nd half Sneijder, Huntelaar, Babel. Goals were scored by Babel, Sneijder, Matthijsen and van der Vaart (p).
We played good and were hungry for goals and this was a friendly so better hold on to your seats when you come to Holland cause we are ready!(H)

I'm afraid that, if we play like we did with Moldova, we don't have a chance against Holland. Piti's crazy not calling Ogararu , Vl. Munteanu, Niculescu .. etc. and calling Contra, Buga, Fl. Petre .. WTF ?!

At least with Ogararu you've got a more solid defense, it's about time Piturca saw that, is he blind or smth :rolleyes:

I've read an interview with George this week in a footballmagazine here, he is very dissapointed why he can't play for Romania. He understands that he can't play if he doesn't play much for Ajax but especially in the last few months he played a lot for us and when he does he really makes a difference in the back for Ajax.
So he is surprised why he's not been invited by your coach and rightfully so if you ask me.
One thing I know for sure, he's getting more and more frustrated up to a point where he could refuse to play for Romania under Piturca. Just like Ruud van Nistelrooij refuses to play under van Basten and if that happens you can thank your coach for that cause that would be a great loss to your team IMO.

The problem with Piti is that he is known for holding grudges. The man can coach the national team (just look at his record!) but there's always a tense atmosphere around selection and everything because the public and media always feel like he's calling up the wrong guys. I honestly can't believe he hasn't called up Vlad Munteanu from Energie Cottbus in the Bundesliga, he's rippin it up this season!

he's a very good offensive midfielder, your coach is stupid if he doesn't start him.

the guy you see making all those crosses and running up the middle at one point is Cocis (he made the pass on that backheel goal by Mutu too)
