News:

- Lokomotiv played its 26th game without a defeat after a 0:1 win over Moskva. The only team to play 26 games in a row without a loss besides Lokomotiv was Spartak Moscow in 1993. That was their last game before a defeat. If Lokomotiv wins their next game against CSKA, they will set a new record.

- CSKA is still 1 point behind Lokomotiv even if it wins its three matches.

- Torpedo won its first game since three months ago. They played 11 matches without a win.

- Poshkus, who moved to Zenit from Krylya Sovetov, scored for the first time on his new team.

- Two ex-Lokomotiv players scored in their first matches for their new clubs. Mikhail Ashvetia scored for Rostov and Winston Parks scored for Saturn.

- As Torpedo left for the locker rooms after their win over Dinamo, their fans chanted "Go Russians!" - in mockery of Dinamo that fielded only 2 Russian players in the starting 11.

the record of attendance of the Russian Premier League was set this year, at the match between CSKA and Spartak at Luzhniki, there was an audience of 66 500. at the same time the average attendance of Dynamo Moscow matches with all their Portuguese players is about 5 000 :rofl:

Dinamo is a joke. Literally. Even its own fans make fun of it. I'd shoot myself if Lokomotiv did that. They won't last, though. The team is sucking and eventually, the portuguese players will leave. Who wants to play for a club with no fans?

Bikey sucked. Samedov sucked. Sychev was bad. Evseev was bad, too. Khoklov was just unbelieveably horrible.

We need Loskov back. And Izmailov. Hey, at least we equalised. -_-;;

steaua - it's not bad, but the football was awful - in fact, there was no football. but i guess 1-1 is better than 0-0.

cavenaghi is doing horrible. he has 5 goals so far, with one penalty, which makes him average (best right now is 8 with 2 penalties, but there are a lot of 7s and 6s). he hasnt adjusted to russian soccer, and im not sure if he ever will. he does start all the time though, but for how long, i don't know. Spartak's other two strikers, Pavlenko and Pavlyuchenko look much better than him at the moment.

Europe have this name because, there are a lot big regions where the main industry is steel making. Thats why they have this name.
