This month Kazan' will celebrate it's thousandth anniversary, so this victory was confined to it. Besides, there were the president of Tatarstan(the republic which is a part of Russia) and the mayor of Kazan'(the capital of this republic) on this match, so they just couldn't lose. It's really possible this game was bought.

It's not the first time a match has been bought - so yea, I legitimately think that that's what happened. Like, the last match of the season in 2003... Lokomotiv had to win and Rubin had to lose in order for Loko to get third place. Loko played Shinnik and a$$-raped them 6-0, CSKA was playing Rubin and were dominating the match. Last 2 mins of the game - the CSKA defense just kinda lets the guys score 2 goals in overtime. Rubin wins, Loko sits there without medals.

Now I mean, that might have been legit. But, seriously, I don't think so. Division 1 is famous for bought matches - it happens in the upper league once in a while, too. The ref called a penalty for "handling" when the ball hit Loko defender in the back. That was 0-1. Then he called a free-kick for no foul - the guy just decided to fall down. That was 0-2. Then he didn't call a foul in Rubin's box. I call that a bribed ref.

Sytchev is out for about six months :o we obviously should look for a substitution for him. Lebedenko can't replace him, Kanyenda just sucks and Ruopolo hasn't played a single match yet.

It's too late to find a replacement for him for the RPL. They won't be able to make a decent signing before the deadline. They could look for a forward for the champions league group stage, I guess that's possible - but who would take the offer? If Loko loses to Rapid (*spit over left shoulder*), then that player will have to wait a whole season to play an official match. Nobody would want that.

We're going to have to use the inside resources. Lebedenko, unfortunately, is not good enough. I thought he'd pick up as the season progresses, but he is a disappointment. Kanyenda sucks right now, I agree. Hopefully, however, he will pick up. I always hope. Give the guy a chance, he only played a few games. My biggest hope is Ruopolo. True, he hasn't played yet - but look at Samedov. The guy was doing very well in his second game for the team. It's possible. Now that Sychev is out, Ruopolo HAS to go in pretty soon.

Another option is Izmailov, who is back from an injury. He often plays a striker who is pulled back a bit, so he could do Sychev's job, since Sychev liked to go deeper into the midfield and help out there. It's good to have him and Loskov back. Without Sychev, though, it's gonna suck anyway.

Rapid 1:1 Lokomotiv (Samedov, 10 - Vlahovic, 75 - penalty)

Ref sucks. He hates the Russians so bad. What a b*stard. The penalty was 100% tho, nothing against him there. Should've won 4:1, but no. :(

Torpedo 0:2 CSKA :(

Best Goals:

Pavlyuchenko 0:1 (Dinamo:Spartak) - Nice
Gusev (CSKA:Zenit) - not a goal, but a nice overhead kick

News:

- Lokomotiv's best scorer Sychev and CSKA's best scorer Olic are both out for at least half a year with the exactly same knee injury. The season for them is over. Lets pray that Sychev will play well once he comes back unlike Pimenov & co.

- The Zenit and CSKA tie makes both team share the second place as they lag 7 points behind Lokomotiv, whose title seems more than likely. The second Champions League place (yes, Russia has two now) seems to be the fighting cause now.

Enjoy :)

And Lokomotiv sucessfully ****s up the goddamn game with Rapid and goes on to play in the UEFA Cup.

No Sychev = No game. So many chances and nobody scored. God.

Maybe if they didn't talk as much ****, like Ovchinnikov with his "UEFA Cup sucks, I want CL", maybe they could've done something.

I hear Vladimir Romanov could be buying Saturn. Any of you guys know anything that I don't?
well, this is unlikely, because the "unofficial patron" of Saturn is Boris Gromov, the governer of the Moscow region, and he is more influential than 10 Romanovs taken together;)
