Fellaini can play either of the 3 midfield spot.

Also they should have gone out to Australia.
gone out? or gone to extra time coz Grosso should have instead been punished for doing what your boy Tommy is such an expert at?

I like Fellaini, I picked him last year, but he was no more than a reserve on my list. Great talent, but has rarely showed it in his time at Everton after a good debut and is constantly injured. Very complete midfielder, but I'd have picked him in a later round.

EDIT: Anyway, my prefered choice would've been the pacier Jagielka, and I'm still pissed at having thought he'd be available now, but Alex is a great pick at this point nonetheless. He and Terry have been brilliant together, and Dawson is even quicker than John. Strong, and a good defender, injuries jeopardised his season last year and sooner or later Luiz will completely oust him, but for now, I still think he's the better overall defender.

I wanted an Ajacied in my starting eleven. And since Jantje was already taken, I took his Belgian partner in crime at the back. One more player to go, the right back. I have a few guys in mind.

My starting eleven as it stands now:

------------------Stekelenburg-----------------
Corluka----Pepe----Alderweireld-----Chivu
------------De Jong--------Gustavo-----------
Robben------------Afellay-------------Suarez
-------------------Huntelaar--------------------

Subs:
Kevin Strootman (DM C, MC)

I'd suggest a more attacking-minded RB to offer width on the right. Corluka is a good player, but doesn't offer much thrust in attack.

I'm happy he Barrios was still available, he can be used as great sub for Chicharito.

I don't think below attack formation will work, what do you think?

Booo!! I wanted Handanovic too. Oh well, he was probably my #2 choice of guys I expected to fall down to about Round 17.

Sorry I'm a little late guys, I checked around 3 hours ago and saw I was up, but I can't post from my phone. I sent a facebook message to Az, but it was well past night time in Spain.

Anyway, I think Jones is big and strong and fast and smart and versatile. Probably drafted more on potential I suppose, but he's good now. Been a Premier League player since he was a kid, and his transfer fee obviously indicates big expectations.

The ironically named Peter Crouch is my next pick. I believe he has super quality and will score many goals. Is he too tall? I dont know.

Crouchy's nomadic because he frustrates managers who intend to use him solely as a targetman. He's good with the ball on his feet and not that good of a header. Scores sufficient headed goals moreso because he can win more of them because of his height than because he's actually good at it.

Same as Shifty about Handanovic. Was on my back-up list alongside a bunch of guys that will be available in the last rounds.

I expected Jones to be picked sooner based on potential, but we'll have to see how he performs this year, still a bunch of better CBs out there right now, but by the time Jones is 28 or so he'll probably among the best.

I'm a little surprised, but I'm having some difficulty right now thinking of central defenders who have the physical profile of Jones. Specifically his combination of size and speed. I've been debating between another CB for each of my last few picks, but ultimately wrote down my next 7/8 choices and thought Jones was the most likely to be taken next by someone.

My next pick is going to anger at least 1 person (H)

Jones isn't that fast or that strong yet, he's got a bit of both, but I don't think it's particularly noteworthy, it's moreoso his excellent marking and positioning for a player his age. Thing is, he's meant to be Vidic's direct replacement, and we'll have to see how that goes.

Its funny how young players are like that. Many young strikers and defenders start off fast but then by the time they are late 20/early 30s they are known for not having that skill. I bet you when Jones is 30 he will be pretty slow. I'm thinking Terry, Ferdinand, Inzaghi etc...

Yeah, that's a posibility I have in mind. Schurrle definitely brings more excitement than Torres at the moment...

Yeah, I'd probably do that too. I also don't like the idea of Pirlo and Obi Mikel in the same midfield. Not enough thrust for me, would have preferred to see Ramires swapped in there.
