He and Coentrao probably combined on the left for Benfica, but it seems like that would be a little awkward with neither looking to cut in.

I watched almost every single game of Di Maria's best season and he was always better on the left.

Last season, one of his best games was against Barça in the Copa del Rey, that amazing move that got Ronaldo the goal was from the left.

In Argentina he won the Olympic games with a couple of great games and that great lob playing from the left.

He's a great player, no doubt he's very dangerous from the right as well, I just feel he's better from the left AND, as I've said, with those three, it's the best set-up to put him on the left and Messi on the right serving Torres. With the mobility of Messi it's not like Di Maria would stay on the left the entire game.

Schurrle can play on the right too. I think it's more of a debate whether Messi is better in the middle as a false 9 (especially without a #10), and whether Schurrle is as good as Torres right now.

Yes! better, more dangerous and unpredictable, having Messi the other forwards should be a supporting feature.

Did anyone else just see Torres fail to find Ramires there at the end of the Chelsea game? He doesn't belong anywhere near a pitch right now.

Too bad. I'm glad I have Schurrle to shuffle it up a bit in attack. Every day I'm shuffelin'!

This is how my team shuffles on and around the pitch. Enter Schurrle, exit Torres!

Yeah, I wasn't sure if he was picked, and then I saw he wasn't, but I still wanted the English player because I'm so racist!

Impact Sub. With the ball at his feet, Gio puts the fear in defenders like one of the top 10 players in the world. Too bad he seems to have picked up more from Ronaldinho than just his sense of style.

Gio's gone from extremely overrated to a bit underrated throughout his career imo. A good pick, but his inconsistency is a bit of a put-off.
