should raul captain spain in the world cup? i would agree with Seggie, his time has come to move on. not only from madrid, but also from captaining his national side.
i can think of many other players on that team (Puyol for starters) that could do a better job than he could. spain needs to start challenging for major honors, and to do that, they need a strong leader. i don't even think he should be in the starting lineup, much less captain.
it's important to note that i'm not saying all this because i'm a barca fan. i generally want spain to do well, and i feel that he's holding the team back.
