i have an issue occasionally when i import 3ds file where when i load quads on the texture tab, the number of quads don't match the number of imported meshes in the part. This means for some meshes, i can't modify the texture coordinates. I'm exporting 3ds files from Rhino (v3). i have the same problem whether the meshes being exported are exploded or have been joined first.

what am i doing wrong?

I'm working on Huish Park, stadium of Yeovil Town in League 1. Not finished yet though... have stadiums for Stevenage and Rochdale in the works.

"This part of the forum is for (video) games, get lost to the area for queers"

Your point?

Although it's a bad thing that he's insulting homosexuals, we all know that you're not really offended since you're just trying to imitate your idol, LCS. ;)

Effectively, the number of "quads" is sometimes differing from the total number of meshs. It is OpenNURBS.NET.dll which makes the calculation of the number of quads. If 2 triangles have 2 perfectly equal summits it transforms them into "quads" otherwise it considers that it is 2 isolated triangles. Generally, the problem arises when meshs was resize several times or on files directly imported by stadiums built by EASports. " Load quads " is just an additional help for the treatment of textures but not perfect 100 %.

I think that the triangl meshes do not work for SW12. I tried, but SW12 displays an error when I try to import them(from 3ds). But I managed to lie SW12, as I did square mesh and collected two of its corners in one. Thus, SV12 showed no error :).

a good idea! versions would be cool nighttime, daytime, etc. of the stadiums that do not.

es buena idea!!! estaría bueno versiones nocturas, diurnas, etc de los estadios que no la tienen.

Ok, thanks. i can get around this, as long as the mesh doesn't share points with another mesh. if the mesh is isolated from others and doesn't share points with others, i can draw a selection box around it if it doesn't show up in the load quads list. if it does share points with an adjacent mesh, however, i haven't found a way to select only the mesh i want to modify texture coordinates for, if it's not available via the load quads list due to the issue you mention above involving OpenNURBS.NET.dll. one way, i guess is to temporarily separate the mesh in question from the adjacent meshes back in Rhino, re-export/import the 3ds file back into SW12, make my texture coordinate changes to the mesh and then drag it properly realign it with the adjacent meshes. :-( is there a better way to do this?

One other question. when i re-import a .3ds file, it appears to wipe out any texture coodinate changes i have made. is there currently a way to save texture coordinate changes so that when i reimport a .3ds file for the same part, i can reload the coordinate modifications instead of having to make these changes all over again?

So...do the rules only apply when you want them to, or do they apply all the time? Or is that fancy Manager title just so you can brag to the ladies?

Well I'm happy to delegate it to someone with more authority; as I stated before, the use of a derogatory term for a homosexual, in whatever language, is completely out of place.

Also, for future reference, try not to pick fights with non-native English speakers. :) Rule 1) could have applied to your first post referring to his incorrect syntax when asking about White Hart Lane.

i see another post in a foreign language the poster gets a yellow card, simple.

a zero tolerance policy has been issued by the supermods regarding posting in any language other than english.

@ CarlosDanger

@ erick

i have told you before about posting in spanish here, if you do it again you will be carded.
