I Live in QLD and the news is going crazy it is like the Prime Minister being assassinated he will get a State Funeral in QLD and everything (possibly a public holiday for the State) also im not sure if his theme park will stay open i know his wife is American and most likely she will return to the states to be closer to her family.

Well, I always hated his shows and thought he was generally an obnoxious man, but I am still a little sad that he has died. Still, it's about time that one of these guys actually died in action, and I'm glad this was the way he went, even though it wasnt quite the front line.

You guys who love him should all be really pleased because you just know that, if he had kept on living, he would have gone the same way as Elvis - too fat to fit into his kakhi suit, scraping by with crappy tours fighting terapins and such - it would totally have soured your memory of the man.

Actually Sean, i knew a guy who met him and he always said that in person, hes like the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Proper stand and talk to you for a while.

On the serious side, he has actually done so much for animlas and whatnot, got a hell of a lot of kids in England interested in crocs in particular.
