Are you fu.c.k.ing serious man?......a rich man cannot be the victim of racism?....You are in serious need of help.

Carlos and Eto are black right?...so if you call them names that relate to their skin colour that is RACISM.
If you insult a player with homophobic insults, and the player is gay....then that is homophobia. If he is not gay them it means nothing. The point is that Carlos and Eto are BLACK so the insults thrown at them are RACIST insults.
Surely that is simple for even you to understand. What a moron.Maybe an end product of the society you live in :kader:.....education.....education.....education

as for the ref....it dont matter what colour his skin is.....if he is a wanker.....then he IS a wanker

No a rich man is not victim of racism because he has money. Usualy is about the money, not about the color of the skin.

And I agree it's all about education, but it's a general problem in football, that is not just reflected in racism.

In Spain supporters say anything to rival players. If they black, it may sound racist. If they are white it may sound like gay. If they have an history with police (kluivert) it may sound like "violator".

In Spain rival team supporters, also recive some chants. In England you beat them. So sorry but I prefer racist chants, gay chants or whatever than violence.

And I say this, because out of football, in real world, sadly racism is the same in both countries. When a poor black guy in England or a guy from the Magreb in Spain is searching for a job, he will have the same problems in both countries. There is where the racism exist, for poor people, not for a black guy like Etoo who wins 3 milions euros or Roberto Carlos, or any football player in a decent football team.

by the way you really show great education in your post.

Thanks man.....

But listen....just because it happens in Spain, does not make it right.Racial insults are not acceptable in civilised society.Call the player a s.h.it....call the player what you like but once you involve the colour of his skin then a simple insult becomes a racist insult. It is just not acceptable man.If Kluivert has beat up his wife ,then call him a wife beater but do not call him a BLACK wife beater. When you insult Raul in the Camp Nou,do you call him a white wanker?NO you just call him a wanker.....do you see the difference ?
In England rival fans mostly tease and insult each other too.Violence between them is very very rare these days i am glad to say.
And also just because Eto is rich, the insults regarding his skin colour still hurts him in the heart.Racism affects everyone the same.Rich and poor.
OK i know Eto aint going to be looking for a night job at Mcdonalds,so he will not experience the racism that some people get every day of the week, but any amount of racism is bad.Never is it ok ....not ever...not to anyone.

well its good to hear that Laporta is doing all he can, thats to be admired really.Do the police arrest anyone in the ground who still persist with racist abuse?Do they enter the crowd and get these people?Do other fans tolerate these racists or do the rest of the fans point them out to the police?I would be interested to know what really happens at a game for instance.
As for Madrid players showing support for the Ultras, that is bad but i would imagine that is the result of a society tolerating that kind of behaviour. If you tolerate it then you encourage it.Maybe all Ultras should be banned because they all seem to me to be of a like mind.Maybe i am wrong so inform me.
They act mostly outside the stadiums. Clubs can't do anything against that.

At a game it happens that when any of those idiots is identified, he's banned for life. Obvious.

You're telling me that Roberto Carlos is a victim of the Spanish society and that's why he gave the Ultras his shirt after a game? oh, poor him.

Nobody can do anything if Roberto Carlos gives them his shirt, but he was very criticized and he had to apologize.

English hooligans are well known, they've killed people too, do you think they represent your country or your society? I don't think so.

sorry but where did hooligans come into this discussion?...I think you are taking this a bit personally mate .You are sarcastic and argumentative, while the rest of us are talking quite calmly...........whats your problem....lighten up.I asked you questions that i sincerly wanted answers to,and you reply with this.

The big difference between our societies in this matter is this....Your government try to play things down while my Government confront the problems head on.That is the difference.

I'm always sarcastic and I replied all your questions.

Hooligans came into this discussion because I brought them in. I made you a question, you say racism is Spain is tolerated by the society. Are English hooligans product of the society where they live? what's the problem with that question?

I wouldn't say you're talking quite calmly when you call people moron or you insult the society where I live.

I don't give that importance to what people in a football match says to players.

Many stupid things are said in a hot moment or when you're watching a football match. Maybe you said sometin like "break that bastard's leg". That's something that you wouldn't usually say but in a hot moment you may say. That doesn't make you a violent person.

I made the uh-uh-uh to Roberto Carlos some years ago, and I promise I don't care about his skin but I don't like him and I know that's something that pisses him off, so I did it too incomodate him and to affect his game. I said gay to Guti, and I don't know if he is, but taht may incomodate him. I promise I don't care about his sexual life either.

On the other hand I agree that such a behavior like Aragones with Henry is not acceptable for someone who is in such an important job, and that he should have been punished.

pede54 said:

Nobody calls him black beater, just beater. because the important thing was not his skin but to incomodate him with something he had done (don't know is it was proved).

pede54 said:

That's true and it's a good point.

Anyway I have never called Roberto Carlos black monkey but just monkey. And in Barcelona I don't remember any other black player seriously uh-uh-uhed (I don't know is this is a correct form but I guess you'll understand). It's something personal, not general to the nonwhite people.

pede54 said:

yes true again, but although it pisses him off at the moment it just motivates him more. Later he knows that it is just stupid. If they want to use something to attack him that is stupid, then why to pay attention to them. Ignore them, don't be all the time talking about them bacause you're only advertising their behaviour.

I''ve found Diarras words about all this stuff very good. He has said:" I would prefer to continue and play because those people have no importance for me"

Education is the solution? Yes, of course. Tell the people who is not doing racist chants (most of the people) to boo those who made it and ignore them.

Your post now has been much more educated than the previous one.

Well stick to the subject and dont try to change the subject.Yes English hooligans Were a product of the society that they lived in.But that society has come down hard on ALL aspects that created those conditions.

I call someone a moron when they make a statement only a moron would make.

I do not insult your society ....i merely stated that your government do not like to admit or recognise that Spanish society has a race problem.

By the way the more you post the worse you make your country look. You talk like a 12 year old kid.Are you a kid.I need to know so i can work out if i am wasting my time with you.

The Spanish society has a race problem.. if you say so.. you know what's happening here better than anyone, don't you?

I'm being sarcastic again, sorry.

I don't understand your point. What has to do the Spanish government? examples please.

Another question, do you even know anything about the Spanish government?

Of course I didn't read all that.

I just found the part you mean. The Spanish government did apologize for what happened in that Spain-England.

After a lot of pressure from the rest of Europe they did.As i said a statement had to be dragged out of them.If that was my Government i would be ashamed of them as many many Spaniards were. Not you obviously.

Well, we know panxoman is a racist, anyone else want to come out of the closet? You can make fun of players without the monkey chant and throwing bananas, not to further condemn your society, but America has a huge race problem and we don't even dare to do garbage like that. And it's not even illegal here. You can get into a player's head without being a racist. I don't understand what you mean when you say "oh, some things just slip out in the heat of the moment!" Yeah, well perhaps something like "**** you monkey nigger" shouldn't be slipping out at any time. Something is only going to "slip out" if it is already there.

Why? "if he's wanker, it's a wanker". you said that about the refs. So it's the same with Roberto Carlos, Etoo, or any other white, black, yellow, pink or green player.

and about the goverment, I prefer my goverment with all it soft hand and always trying to cold down things, than your goverment with all his capacity to confront problems head on... like in Iraq for instance. But that's another question. I just mean that don't put your goverment as example as how things should be done.

wow yes, I shouted to Roberto carlos and I'm racist but I have a Etoo picture and i'm ...what?. Now I love black people? I doesn't make sense. It's not a color of skin problem. It's a matter of liking that person or disliking it and a matter of disturbing that player in any way you can.

There's a president who also looks like a monkey in Northamerica, like Roberto Carlos. Bush looks like a monkey and I would shout the uh-uh-uh to him. Am I also racist against white people? No I just dislike Bush.

being racist is something that is proven in other attitudes in life than shouting in a football stadium.

maybe you have a huge racism problem in america, but that doesn't mean it has to exist in every other country.

Actually, panxoman, it does happen in every other country. I was born and raised in Australia, to Chinese parents, and I copped a whole lot of crap while I was at school. Although it was from a minority, it still happened, and it cut me badly (I was 12 or 13 at the time).

I have been to Hong Kong twice. My grasp of Chinese is very limited. I speak English to my dad and my sister, so whenever I was talking to either of them while in Hong Kong, I copped stares from people around me, because I was Chinese but did not speak the language. This from a place that was under English rule for 99 years.

It does not have to be overt, it just happens.

you 2 Spaniards are as thick as s.h.i.t and understand nothing. You are a disgrace to humanity let alone the entire Spanish race. You are ignorant and narrow minded and you just talk crap.If your parents bought you up to be like you are then the world would be a better place if they had of been sterilised so you could not be born.I feel sorry if you guys ever have kids because i suppose they will have to grow up listening to your ignorant racist bulls.h.i.t.
