I am disappointed and somewhat shocked by this...

I really liked Hingis as an overall player, so it's too bad she never won another Grand Slam these recent years.

She was one of the greatest players in the sport but because she is leaving the way she is, her whole career will be stained by this cocaine allegation from now on.

People won't remember what she won. They will remember the way in which she retired...and that is very sad indeed...

They are ridiculous allegations, I don't believe most people will actually buy it.

I believe every word she said in her press conference.... I hope there's a way she could exonerate herself. If there is, I wish her a speedy exoneration.

And cocaine? Ridiculous. This entire thing is unbelievable and makes no sense. I hope she's busy putting together a strong defense...

Hingis is the best...

maybe her sister will put together an elaborate plan involving tatoos and eastern european immigrants :D

sorry, it's just the word "exonerate", man...

Nalbandian has been playing at an incredible level these past weeks. He just came from winning the Masters series of Madrid by beating the first three seeded and today repeated the same by beating both Nadal and Federer to take the Masters series of Paris. :gavin:

Nadal just got raped.

I heard it was a short game (only 69 min?) and Nalbandian played almost flawlessly...it's a shame he is so unconsistent though, because he could be fighting up there with the top three if he trained a bit harder

Mate, tennis has some of the best drug-testing methods in any sport (although I think they could be MUCH better seeing how they still haven't exposed Nadal).

the ITF rarely makes mistakes with this stuff. Plus, they tested 3 samples, and all tested positive. So....Hingis has to have a pretty good argument to defeat them, but I think she's saying she never did it because she might not even remember it! :amika: She might also have a child soon for all we know from that day :amika:

Dude, I saw every single game he played in Paris. He was above everybody, I can not remind when he played like this last time. He's going to beat everybody and reach the Shanghai trophy for the end of the season.

Here's Nalbandian holding his last trophy(H)

Unfortunately I think he will not be able to play in Shangai because neither Roddick (I think he had shoulder problems?) or Davidenko dropped out. Nalbandian jumped from the 25th position to the 9th to become the first substitute to play in Shangai if any of the first 8 seeded dropped out. Later, I believe Nalbandian turned down his position as first substitution and gave it to Robredo. Anyhow, I'm very proud of David and I hope that he continues in this form because I think he has everything to win a Grand Slam. Fortunately he has saved what would be a deplorable season for the Argentine tennis players (Coria, Gaudio, etc).

Pity Hingis had to retire with such allegations against her.

I'm gonna miss her, man. I considered her to be I guess the female version of McEnroe with her sharp tongue, cockiness and "I've already got this one in the bag' attitude, you know? She was a very clever little runt out there on the court, just had a phenomenal keen positional sense and an unbelievable feel for the game.

I always perceived her as being a wild party girl who hopped from one Cock to the other recklessly, so I'm really not surprised that she got caught with some Coke in her system, but I get this sad and lonely image of her sitting somewhere in one of the Wimbledon restrooms, feeling the wear and tear of her career and doing a self-audit of herself, with her bad back, knees, hips and ankles and struggling through the tournament and then having a snort or two to alleviate the terrible pain both mentally and physically.....hmm

Anyway, man. I'll miss her. I've always had a thing for her, even though she's considered to be an ugly dog by many. She's cute in her own little unique way, man. Those 12yr old boy t-shirts that she used to wear to accentuate and enhance her itty bitty tits would always drive me insane with lust, as did her big, thick ass, man. And that MAMMOTH forehead of hers.....WOOF! Boy would I love to slap my wang off that monstrosity......like so.......whack, whack, whack......whack, whack, whack!

*sigh*

RIP.

Sick with a stomach virus last week, haven't played since end of last year and Federer just comes and thrashes his opponent like he's some amateur.

Baghdatis win after 5 set game with Safin. It was a thriller but didn't stand on the highest level. They just sometimes did unusual things on court.

What a great match between Tipsarevic and Federer. (Y)

Tipsarevic was superb with his forehand and great serving especially at crucial points of the match. Its been a long time since i've seen Federer pushed this much.

I was rooting hard for Tipsarevic, nothing against Federer, but it would have been nice to see someone else win a grand slam.
