I am disappointed and somewhat shocked by this...
I really liked Hingis as an overall player, so it's too bad she never won another Grand Slam these recent years.
She was one of the greatest players in the sport but because she is leaving the way she is, her whole career will be stained by this cocaine allegation from now on.
People won't remember what she won. They will remember the way in which she retired...and that is very sad indeed...

They are ridiculous allegations, I don't believe most people will actually buy it.
I believe every word she said in her press conference.... I hope there's a way she could exonerate herself. If there is, I wish her a speedy exoneration.
And cocaine? Ridiculous. This entire thing is unbelievable and makes no sense. I hope she's busy putting together a strong defense...

the ITF rarely makes mistakes with this stuff. Plus, they tested 3 samples, and all tested positive. So....Hingis has to have a pretty good argument to defeat them, but I think she's saying she never did it because she might not even remember it! :amika: She might also have a child soon for all we know from that day :amika:

Unfortunately I think he will not be able to play in Shangai because neither Roddick (I think he had shoulder problems?) or Davidenko dropped out. Nalbandian jumped from the 25th position to the 9th to become the first substitute to play in Shangai if any of the first 8 seeded dropped out. Later, I believe Nalbandian turned down his position as first substitution and gave it to Robredo. Anyhow, I'm very proud of David and I hope that he continues in this form because I think he has everything to win a Grand Slam. Fortunately he has saved what would be a deplorable season for the Argentine tennis players (Coria, Gaudio, etc).
So my only hope to win it is Djokovic...^^NICE!
I'm gonna miss her, man. I considered her to be I guess the female version of McEnroe with her sharp tongue, cockiness and "I've already got this one in the bag' attitude, you know? She was a very clever little runt out there on the court, just had a phenomenal keen positional sense and an unbelievable feel for the game.
I always perceived her as being a wild party girl who hopped from one Cock to the other recklessly, so I'm really not surprised that she got caught with some Coke in her system, but I get this sad and lonely image of her sitting somewhere in one of the Wimbledon restrooms, feeling the wear and tear of her career and doing a self-audit of herself, with her bad back, knees, hips and ankles and struggling through the tournament and then having a snort or two to alleviate the terrible pain both mentally and physically.....hmm
Anyway, man. I'll miss her. I've always had a thing for her, even though she's considered to be an ugly dog by many. She's cute in her own little unique way, man. Those 12yr old boy t-shirts that she used to wear to accentuate and enhance her itty bitty tits would always drive me insane with lust, as did her big, thick ass, man. And that MAMMOTH forehead of hers.....WOOF! Boy would I love to slap my wang off that monstrosity......like so.......whack, whack, whack......whack, whack, whack!
