I suggest we consider migrating this discussion into KaseyKeller's Career Mode Editing thread because many of our interested in editing many facets of Career Mode including transfer behavior. I have found some interesting tricks out for player value based on contract years remaining to reduce the movement of players on long deal (which the Real Life clubs clearly value very highly). Please in KaseyKeller's Career Mode Editing thread for more info as I don't want to post the same stuff in two threads.

I have been doing this, still no dice. None of the big files have any db traces, everything is in the correct spot in the data folders. So after regenerating, it should look to these spots. The stadium names and trophy names have changed, so not sure why it will not display the changed transfer funds. Bah! :)

Do this. Move away temporarily your db folder from FIFA12, regenerate, open game, close; now re-put the db folder on fifa12/game/data, regenerate and see If It works...
With me, this is the only working process to bound the game recognize my db folder when I make a modification.

My game won't start when I remove the db folder, tried to and crashes before the language screen. Could this be an issue of sorts? Perhaps I need to start over and put my original big files back, and work from there.

Since I could not fully load the game after removing the db folder, I don't think you suggestion can fully be implemented, thanks a bunch though for helping! :)

That's what I'll do at some point today. Oddly enough it almost seems as the changes are being read, but not correctly. Some of the big teams have come way down, and others have gone down by about 2M, very odd, lol.

Still not having much luck after starting over. Can I ask you guys which types of databases you have in the data/loc/ folder? I read somewhere that you need to copy the database files to the db and also the loc folder. Is that correct?

If I remove the db folder and try to start the game, it can't get to the language screen. The other odd issue is some of the budgets have changed, but not all of them. City is showing at 45M instead of the default 105 using Exo's edits. In the db they are listed at 30M, very confused......

Hello. Maybe a silly question.

is it possible to edit any of the above in a career mode already in progress, or do I have to start a completely new career?
