Thanks, I would love to join it, but I am not sure how it works. I am kinda new to these forums. lol

If you could direct me to a write-up or set of instructions on how to join the Quarterly Challenge and what is it about, I would be more then happy to participate. This Cm Community simply rocks! :rockman:

I'll check out those players you told me about. Thanks.

min, get Mark Byrnes from an Aussie team Para Power, should be cheap. i get him from Frnech div 1 tho by 2 mil in the season 05/06 when his contract isnt protected. he is a defender who can play left/center/right. not my first team regular but consistent, usually rated at 8 or 9, with 9 assist in 20+ appearences for me. very young, a good investment 2.

Guys, look, my first ever big signing, Hernan Crespo, after over 3 seasons.
I spent a fortune on him, something like 27 million pounds...I really hope he is worth it!

Thanks ryan_goal, I am checking him out right now. I like versatile defenders, they help fill the gaps when the squad is depleted with injuries or suspensions. :)

1)Charity Shield Winners
2)Fa Cup Champions

  • SEASON 2
1)Charity Shield Winners
2)League Cup Champions
3)Premiership Champions

  • SEASON 3
1)Charity Shield Winners
2)League Cup Champions
3)Premeirship Champions
4)Champions League

  • SEASON 4
1)European Super Cup Winners
2)Intercontinental Cup Winners
3)League Cup Champions
4)Premiership Champions
--------------------------------------------
I received an invitation to play at the World Club Championships next season, which I duly accepted.

I am now contemplating if I should actually continue with Manchester United or resign and look for a smaller lower division club to manage and achieve promotion.

What clubs do you all suggest for lower-division newbies, like me?

Cheers.

I Dont Like Managing Man Utd IMO

I Feel I Can Win Using a Simple 4-4-2 With No Problems

I Rather Play with an Aston Villa, Blackburn or Div 1 Club Like Millwall...

Thanks guys.

Well, I am continuing with Manutd. We came in third in the World Club Championships, and Roma seem to be our bogey team at the moment. We seem to loose to them almost every time in cup finals.

Believe me, managing Manutd isn't easy as many of you think, the results don't come easily and the fierce competition for places in the squad can lead to wrong managerial choices and inevitably disastrous outcomes.

After that, I'll resign and maybe join "minnows", Newcastle who are struggling in First Division. Poor magpies! :)

Cheers.

For people who want to start in D1 Millwall is a fantastic team. Some great players, £5m to spend and not to high expectations.

I recommend it highly!!!

That's what you get for negotiating with ITV.

The Millwall side I created is now destroyed. All the class players like Livermore and Bull are all gone. That includes Nobby!

I'm currently trying to sign John Terry for £11m.

Just thought I'd update you on my progress with Manutd...
In my 5th season, I managed the double, (Fa Cup and Premiership)

I decided to stay on as manager in the hope that I'll win in what would be my second European Cup.

Got Ronaldo and Edgar Davids to join United.

I have also taken up the job as England manager.
