Vidal's not coming, there was a slight chance before he went did what he did, there's no chance now.

Would it be that significant? Everyone fucks up and Vidal never came across as that sort of guy.

Anyway, Schneiderlin's most likely off to United and we are linked to Arturo.

There was this rumour re Koscielny to Real as Rambos replacement...most likely and hopefully, bullshit. It would destroy all the good things being done. Arsenal are downright horrendous without Kos.

I remember him being linked to them like a week or two or who remembers ago. I've never seen him play I think, but I still kind of know what he's like and he should be a decent fit.

Wouldn't put it past Wenger not signing anyone for the DM position and trying to challenge for the title with Coquelin, though.

How do you know what type of player he is and more than that, if he would fit in Arsenal's system if you've never seen him play?

That guy is very smart he always took the best decision. He is very good pausing the game to attract rivals and then pulling very good tense and vertical passes.

Perfect fit for Arsenal.

Hey don't go all Mandieta6 on me!

Well the answer is quite simple, mostly by reading about him (several articles), opinions from Sporting fans who watch him play week in week out. Let's just say that I have enough trust in them. Also he's quite young and not a finished product which makes assessing which kind of a player he is (and could become) even simpler. Also I think I've seen a couple of short clips, but they're worth nothing.

Okay from what I know he's a good tackler, is quite physical (which means that he's difficult to dispossess), good passer (but usually goes for the safer ones, don't expect a Pirlo-esque player), disciplined player, decent on the ball (while his movement might look a little weird), tactically alright and good at positioning, reportedly good at starting counter-attacks and some have compared him to a young undeveloped Vieira.

Now to the not-so-good parts, he lacks pace, not very good offensively, can struggle against really good playmakers etc.

Anyway he's 23 years old, plays as a DM, usually at the lowest point in the midfield trio, is really talented and full of potential and could grow massively over the next few years at the right club under the right manager. That's about it I think, at least I don't remember anything else about him right now.

EDIT: For further information I don't have the time or will to watch every league or team because of a player that I'm interested about. And I don't like to base my conclusions on one game. So I tend to ask or read about those players from the right sources (which I at least believe to be).

We've been linked to him for the past few windows A LOT. I'm not sure about him, personally but seems like the the deep lying counter starting powerful black guy we could do with.

@Arnau- what of Illaramendi?

Illarramendi shit his pants everytime he puts the real madrid shirt on.

Fits Arsenal loser mentality

That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard all day (maybe besides a couple of things)! I'm telling things the way they are, you can count on that.

Oh and I'm full of shit only if you say so! What you're saying is unbelievable and absolutely outrageous.

As i said before, this trophy is only worthy if completes a treble.
Tell that to Real Madrid fans!

EDIT: Oh what the hell am I saying. I somehow read your sentence as "a trophy is only worthy if it completes a treble", never even thinking about the FA Cup which poet was talking about originally. I blame that poor grammar! Are you drunk again?

But I'm not going to delete this! I believe it was somebody from Real Madrid... Or it might have even been Barcelona, saying that they'd rather take home La Liga than UCL. Yeah it was you guys I'm absolutely certain, so my response to the sentence that you never said actually makes sense.

Class act. This is not only good for Arsenal but also for football. Mata, Lampard, Cech are no more with Chelsea while Mou and JT live happily ever after.
