He is massively overrated. To put it in perspective, he won 1 point less than Man U in the league during that period of time. Man U has been shit.

I dont agree, its impossible to think Rodgers Liverpool would have beaten Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal. Klop did an excellent work in short time without his squad yet.

I have to agree, and with a cl place now at stake I don't think Europa is any longer a 'Micky mouse cup'. Indeed, Klopp and Liverpool this season have been the biggest contributors to raising he profile of the tournament, and that itself is an achievement.

Klopp is one win away from putting Liverpool back in the cl in his first (half)season in charge - yes it's by an unconventional means but do you think that's going to excite the fans any less when they're playing in Europe's elite competition next season whilst Chelsea, Everton and one Manchester club are not?

He changed team mentality and can compete against anyone in a K.O round, now has to find continuity to be a league challenger.

Liverpool were a depressing team under Rodgers. The other days first half against Villarreal... Wow, what a football... They also showed mental streng to overcome a very bad score against BvB.

Was listening to Talksport banging on about this the other day; Klopp is the perfect fit for Liverpool. He is so dramatic, charismatic and entirely-random that it suits Liverpool supporters down to the ground. I'm not sure his style work work as well at Arsenal or Chelsea for instance.

Klopp was the perfect antidote to a Rodgers-team that had gone stale. But to be fair, with Studge Sterling and Suarez with Coutinho in behind the team that nearly won the title was an excellent attacking outfit. I just think Rodgers in the end couldn't bring in the right players and his own personality wasn't akin to what Liverpool fans wanted.

It'll be interesting to see how Klopp is treated if he starts losing matches; I reckon fans will be far more lenient with him than they were Rodgers due to his 'personality' and the fact it resonates so strongly with Liverpool fans.

The perfect manager for Arsenal was Guardiola, now its too late. That club is so depressing, they have no ambition.

Has he shown that he can bring back glory in a team that has not won the league for more than a decade? He could do it but he has not shown that he can do it. Therefore he can't be the "perfect" manager for Arsenal.

Yeah, he seems unproven in league.

Read my post again you completely missed my point. I meant that he has shown that he can win the league with teams that are the best in the league with the best players in the world like Messi and Robben. He also managed teams with lots of money so he could bring in whoever he wants. He has not shown that he can take a team like Arsenal, who has not won the league for 10 years and has no money, to glory.

We have bags of money but I have doubts about Godzilla too. Simeone, Emery or Marcelino or Tuchel.

Your point its stupid because Barça wasnt in better situation than Arsenal when he took charge and Arsenal is rich to sign whoever they want. Also, winning a league once with a club like Barça or Bayern is easy, i give you that, but winning ALWAYS.. thats a different story.

Are you kidding me. Barcelona under Rijkard was hugely successful. Not as successful as Guardiola but still successful. That team also had Iniesta, Xavi and Messi. Arsenal is nothing compared to that team. Arsenal has only won the Emirates cup and the FA cup for the last 10 years.

Succesful until 2006, Rijkaard were sacked in 2008 after being 3rd in league 18p away from a very weak real Madrid

Within 2 years of him taking over, Barcelona had won the league and the champions league with Rijkaard. Arsenal had never won the championz league and not won the league in 12 years. You can't compare these 2 teams.

And you cant put Pep in doubt in 2016.

I don't doubt him at all. He is one of the best managers, but he has no experience with a team that is not the best in the league.

Teams like PSG, Man City suit him very well because they have the best squad of the league already, and money. Teams like Arsenal? Maybe but he has not shown it yet.

No one has ever won as much as him, his worst failure is reaching the champions league semifinal. Not to talk about how his teams play... Attack, attack and attack.
