Maybe you can create later J2 and J3 league for exclusivity.
From Africa, start with leagues, which aren't in Black African Patch, like DR Congo, Sudan etc...

I'm going to maintain the position that we'll prioritize geographic diversity first. Europe gets way too much focus in the game as it is. But, if anyone puts together the rosters for any team, I can at least make the roster for you in a few minutes. Just get me at least the names, positions and nationalities in an excel document. Put them go order from best to worst (as best you can tell). I'll send them back asap

Quick question for the group. The best source of data I have so far does not clarify where on the back line defenders play or where, as a midfielder, they play. For instance, it just tells me that they are a midfielder. It doesn't tell me if they are a winger.

RM15 basically just assumes you're a central defender if it only knows you play defense. It assumes you're a central midfielder if it only knows you play midfield.

I don't have time to look up accurate positions for every player in every new league. It would significantly slow down the process. Would the community prefer that I just guess at some of those or leave it the way it is? I expect that other users will come along later and fix the positions data for the leagues about which they care.

Update: iwasateenagewer, I added the Montego Bay cmp to the front page with your name on it. One bit of advice if it's okay. Mediafile links are notorious for going down unexpectedly and easily. Strongly recommend hosting with google drive instead.

For European leagues (if you are interested in it) is the best page transfermarkt.co.uk ,there are too positions of some players.

Transfermarkt, I believe, locks you out after visiting about 100 urls. I can test this again though. A league will have closer to 230-350 or so.

Also remember, we're trying to focus outside of Europe. EA got Europe covered y'all. There is football outside of Europe. I swear!

Arg. Okay. for big leagues and big clubs, transfermarkt data is just much better. The problem, however, is that I cannot get it to process correctly using the web crawler. Their javascript is just set up in a funny somewhat clunky way. Doing all of that data processing by hand is just too arduous.

I could use your help. For any league you want me to create, if you can just get me a spreadsheet with just a list of the players' urls I can process it. You don't need to do anything else. Just mine the URLs for me and I will do the rest. Hell, I'll even do it for the scottish league.

That goes for any football website from which you want me to pull data and process. Just get me a list of URLs and it's done. If the website doesn't have the team data listed on the player's page, make sure you give me a second column with the team data in it.

If I release a combined database at some point, can I trade some of your requests for your leagues? I want Kenyan league badly. Have a friend who works there and I've visited a few times. Beautiful country.

Regarding the formation table that Celtian brought up. I did a little test today. Generic formations can be used and don't crash manager mode. Additionally, they don't grow the formations table. I think what it is doing is adding a record to a table called teamformationteamstylelinks. That too could have a hypothetical limit. But, it definitely is not zero.

Obviously more testing is required. I believe a past iteration of fifa prevented the use of generic formations, but this one doesn't seem to.

Feel free to use our patches. All the leagues have great kits proudly made by Celtian.
