McDonalds or pizza. More times than not I'll be wasted at late hours of the night where there aren't many options aside from fast food.

You're supposed to add a link for it to become a legit ad.

I love that this thread turned from a high-end artful food discussion to one about the most greasy and addictive foods. I generally try to eat healthy but also insert binge grease sessions from time to time.

On the drunk thing, amazingly when I am drunk I have absolutely no appetite whatsoever and cant eat a thing. You dont know how long I have spent standing outside kebab shops necking whisky waiting for my fat bastard friends to eat that horrible ****.

I have only had a kebab once in my life, and on that occasion I made a mistake and accidentally ordered three kebabs in one, at the price of £20

Good food - I'm a bit of a gourmet. I just love eating out at nice restaurants, and am also a very decent cook myself. I've invented some great dishes which I really thing are top restaurant standard. But ******* estonia has shriveled my creativity, there are no good ingredients here and I dont have a proper kitchen. One thing I am really looking forward to back in england is cooking again.

Watch this space, I am going to share with you gentlemen the ultimate valentines day recipe which is so easy and tastes and looks so good

Alright as promised here is my Valentines Day recipe..... it's so quick and easy but tastes and looks so pro, I guarantee if you want to impress your girl this VD (ha) then you should cook her this.

Sliced duck breast in Morello cherry sauce with asparagus and basil mashed potato.

What you need (for two):

One large duck breast with fat attached
Morello cherry jam (important you get morello, black cherry will be too sweet)
Red wine
Fresh rosemary
Fresh basil
Garlic
Balsalmic vinegar
Cheap potatoes
Asparagus
Pancetta

I'm assuming you have kitchen essentials like oil, milk, butter etc

1. Rub salt into the duck fat then slice the duck breast into slices about a centremetre thick leaving the fat on. Put them in a bowl and mix in oil, balsalmic, thinly sliced garlic and rosemary. If possible marinade for an hour, but you dont have to

2. Mix about half the pot of jam with about a third of a bottle of red wine and simmer on a low head, add some rosemary and either a teaspoon of honey or a pinch of sugar, if you dont have honey. Simmer for about ten mins

3. part boil the asparagus and potatoes, in the same pan if you like

4. Melt butter and milk together in a pan, then pour in the potatoes and add lots of basil leaves, chopped, and then mash as fine as possible. Dont bother peeling the potatoes

5. wrap the asparagus sprigs in pancetta and sautee them in butter. You can choose a different vegetable accompaniment if you prefer

6. pour the whole contents of the duck bowl into a dry pan and fry on medium heat for two minutes or so - you want the duck to be rare

Serve - put a dollop of the potato on the plate, lay the duck slices on top, pour the cherry sauce all over, asparagus on the side. Try and make it look fancy.

So easy and so good!

I'll post a real pro way of doing the potato later, though it takes about two hours.

If you do it the above way you can cook the whole meal in less than half an hour
