Pic of what it ends up looking like?
Dont have one, sorry, not into photographing my food. You'll have to use your imagination. I invented it from scratch so there are no internet pics.

I am not making it this Valentines day, I'm gonna cook a Tunisian feast, because it gives me an excuse to tell all my Tunisia stories which are probably my most interesting anecdotes.

Planning a mussel shrimp pasta for the weekend. I remember having it as a kid, made by my dad, and last week I asked him the basics on how to do it. Also asked for some Canarian recipes, which I'm planning on trying.

No.

I eat granola bars.

I went grocery shopping last night and came home with 2 boxes of granola bars and a ready-to-eat salad mix. I'm with you.

Although I have been having a go at making desserts lately. I've made a Nutella cheesecake a bunch of times and it's turned out better and better each time I make it. And tomorrow I'm making Elmo and Cookie Monster cupcakes for my nephew cuz I'm gay like that. Need to learn how to make real food though.

They'd join in and start one big game of limp biscuit. But the biscuit would contain flax and hemp and some of that other bull****.

And I just started working in Mississauga about a month ago, so odds of us running into one another have just increased slightly.

Loads of different ways. What kind of a pie do you want to make?

Well, I really have no idea. That's an entirely British thing; I have no experience. I'd say one where I can get the most food for cheap, so I assume ground beef and potato would play a prominent role? I wouldn't really know where to begin though. Hell, if I use strips of steak would I have to brown it first, or could I just bake it raw in the crust?

Well it's hard to beat a good steak, ale and mushroom pie. Here's a simple way you could make one:

Get cheap braising steak and make sure you get it whole and chop it yourself so you can chop it into big chunks. Brown the meat in a pan and take it out, slow cook some onions and chopped carrot a celery in the meat juice, when soft stir in some flour and cook til it's brown, then put the meat back in. Pour in half a pint of ale and thyme and bay leaves or just some pre-made bouquet-garnies (no I dont know how to spell it and I cant be arsed to look it up) and some beef stock. Slow cook for a couple of hours. Fry chopped bacon and mushrooms (any type, I like chestnut for pies) in butter then add to the mix. Then put it in the pie pastry and bake it for like forty minutes. You can use pre made pastry or if you like I can tell you how to make your own.
