I think your just looking for individual supporters now in those countries! Like Serbia is doing! 
Influential people and former leaders aren't the current administration in ceratin countries. I am thinking of Czech Rep and Slovakia as best examples.

btw, serbian population is growing day by day as their ambassadors are coming back from states that have recognized Kosovo as an independent state.

No lol. It's was to do with the legitimacy of two Korean Governments - As Per the Cold War, the ROK (South) and DPRK (North) claimed legitimacy of sovereignty over the whole Korean peninsula de jure, despite the fact that there are two de facto governments. It took untill the end of the Cold War for both states to be admitted simultaneously on Aug 8 1991. They've just forgotten how that happened exactly...

Kosovo independence is great importance to me, because as a Turk, i feel myself really close to the people of Kosovo, especially to the Albanian majority.

Even though i feel sympathy for the people of Kosovo, i believe they are just being used in a much bigger "ego-war" between two rival nations.

i didn't really want to post here, as I see no way my nationalism would not get in the way of my thoughts; however I must ask this question... Bybuti, are you more happy that Kosovo is independent because they deserved it, or because it really pissed of the Serbs and took away a huge part not only of their country, but of their culture. I ask because, and forgive me, I haven't had the time to fully read all the posts, a lot of skimming, but it seems like you are just giddy about how the Serbs feel. Again, not trying to start a Nationalistic argument, just asking an honest question.

yea i understand, and it seems like this topic is filled with intelligent conversations, but I did go through the war, and lost everything from family to land, so I guess this hits me a little close to home. those years took my anger away, but seeing some of his posts i couldn't help but feel a little agitated. it's one thing to celebrate a country's independence, and another to put salt in an open wound. we deserve whatever we get, don't get me wrong. As proud I am of my heritage, our people were never united when we had to be. There is a reason we are in this situation. But i just wanted to ask him (bybuti) rather than speculate.

Congrats to Albania, especialy its province that's called Kosovo, and Croatia. We hope you all get in from the Balkans anyway, just so that you stop shooting at each other. And better luck next time to Georgia and Ukraine. We'll do our best to rid you of FSB influence in the near future.

I think Albanians are very nice people that deserves so much better and if they ever face any hostile actions from their neigbours, then we all should do our part and help out Albania.
