hehe, anything to gain an advantage I guess. :crazyboy: I'm looking forward to it as well, should be a good couple of games considering what Cienciano has done as of late. I just hope we can get past the qualifying round to get into the real deal; even if we do pass, I'm not all that hopeful of our chances since I don't think we've got the squad to do anything real serious. If we're to pass, we have to take a comfortable lead in to the second leg because we'll be without 4 of our best players who will be playing for the national team.

I don't think it will. Now, if we had Cuauhtemoc Blanco on our team, it would be a different story. ;)

do u mexican fans really support his attitude? i like him a a player but he is way too cocky.

I personally don't and I'm sure there are a lot of people who feel the same way. Yes, he is a pretty damn good player but he acts like a little bitch a lot and it gets on everyone's nerves. What he did last year in the Libertadores after the Sao Caetano game was pathetic (although Sao Caetano were also to blame). Its the type of thing where when he's on your team, he's great but when he isn't you hate him.

He dislocated his shoulder against Atlante during the Interliga, he's out until late February. :( Talavera, our backup, has done pretty damn well replacing him although it almost seems too good to be true, he's bound to f*ck up sooner or later.

You better take, cuz you wont have 4 of your best players AND will play the 2nd match in Cuzco  . Altitude, baby.:(

I don't like this new rule, Id rather have the old penalty system.

Id like this rule if there was the golden goal. Without it, its pointless IMO. Its better to skip to the PKs.

Its the same rule at CL i think. Now a goal away from home counts (if my understanding of Spanish doesnt fail me), i like it.

3,000 or so meters above sea level right? :o Yeah, we've got to take a good lead or else we're pretty much screwed.

Theres high altitudes in Mexico as well and state of the art facilities. Remember last year America worn out a Bolivian team in La Paz.
