Yeah, I forgot that they narrowed it down to those 2 cities. I've heard that Chivas USA would consider playing at the Coliseum or Rose Bowl as well but I doubt they would do it. All I know is that once Chivas USA are officially put into MLS, I'll forget about the Galaxy. :p

And whats gonna happen when all the die hard Chivas fans who settle for going to watch the Galaxy play stop going, and start going to watch Chivas USA? Galaxy might lose a lot of "fans".

that would be until Club America made an MLS team too (they copy everything Chivas does)... and I heard that one could be in Phoenix. :D

See that's what I was afraid of. I'm afraid Chivas USA will not so much create a new fanbase as they will convert half-assed Galaxy fans to half-assed Chivas USA fans.

But hopefully there are a lot of Mexican soccer fans out there who don't follow MLS that will be interested in the league because of their beloved Chivas.

philly should get a club, they have a great stadium 4 it, albeit an NFL stadium, but a number of mls clubs share with nfl teams

Well im goin on a road trip to DC today to see ADU!

anyway, i dont think philly will get a team without a soccer specific stadium. Lincoln financial field is way too big. We need a 20,000 seat stadium. That wont happen for a while though, cause we just built two brand new stadiums in the past year (eagles and phillies)

Seattle should get a team. They get 10,000+ for the Sounders and have a great place to play in Seahwaks Staduim. Plus the need to expand to cities were it won't be 90 degres or higher in the summer. Seattle fits that bill perfectly.

Oh then the tour guide lied to me. When I was up there I took a tour of Seahawks Stadium and she was giving out attendence figures. And she the Sounders averaged about 10 thousand something or rather. Now I feel cheated.

I think that the MLS needs to expand where it will be successful and not go belly up (Miami) does anybody know where I can find MLS kits for teams that no longer play?

we played DC united last night and lost 2-0. We played, horrible. Freddy Adu scored a goal. We drew like 15,000 fans. People had to stand everywhere because there wasn't enough seats.
