Dallas changing name?

Sounds very NBA or MLB like :D lol

i am interested in MLS as the APL here in Australia can learn a lot on how to break into a market that isn't football crazy as such.

By the way the attendances have been very low this season! Any reasons? :o

If you missed the Metros-Wizard match from wednesday, id suggest going to watch it. At least the second half. Great flowing game.

I SERIOULSY couldn't care less if Europeans never new one team in MLS.

Oh and I think Eddie Johnson of Dallas Burn, will be the next uncapped MLSer to be capped. And deservedly so. Johnson is a technically, and athletically gifted workhorse...
...who has a tendency of missing sitters. ;)

Bruce needs to get EJ capped though, he could be a great option in time for World Cup 2006.

I like Wynalda. Yea, hes a cocky bastard, but he knows his soccer and hes a US national team legend.
Wynalda's alright. JP and Waldo I think is the best combination ESPN2 can put together (which is not saying much).

There won't be any more news on Chivas until after the All-Star Game.

Hey guys, I'm sorry, maybe you don't give a ****, but anyone here knows anything on Dallas Burns' name change? Will they change their collors too?
It will probably be FC Dallas. They should change the colors to brown in honor of their 2003 season.

Actually average attendance is up from last year thanks to The Adu Factor. But outside of Adu games, the attendance has been poor. I can't figure out what he hell is going on with New England. A couple of seasons ago they were drawing huge crowds and the team was just as bad as it is now. The Wizards can't get people inside Arrowhead unless the tickets are free. Colorado can't get more than 15 people unless it's Freddy Night, July 4th Fireworks Night or Buck-a-Brat night. Dallas' triumphant return to the Cotton Bowl has yielded a very modest increase in attendance (less than I expected). Crew attendance is down as well.

Step #1: find some filthy rich sponsors who are interested in developing soccer in Australia and are willing to lose money (at least initially) while doing so.

The Fire and LA have good attendence tho, from what i've seen.
The Galaxy has been a true success story. 23,000 attendance average and it looks great in the 27,000-capacity HDC. I hope Chivas USA will not wreck that.

I'll give you a couple of reasons:

-The Krafts seemed to have given up on them. There is hardly any promotion for the club, anywhere. The only ad for them I have seen has been a quarter-page job in the back of Patriots Football Weekly.

-Tickets and parking are so expensive, you would need a second mortgage on your house just to see ONE game a season.

-The Krafts treat our fans like sh*t. Remember, we can't buy a replica shirt, and we don't know when or if we will be able to buy them.

 Yeah we are going to wreck it, sure:rolleyes: I'll tell you this much AMIGO :mexican: We are going to help all you chillones (look it up) out with your attendance where ever the hek you guys play in the US. Los Angeles Chivas will draw crowds from all over the US and I could bet some money on that! They just announced "PACO" Francisco Palencia, Ramon Ramirez, and possibly Miguel Sabah (Bench Star player for the Chivas ;) ), and possibly Antonio Denigris will be in the Los Angeles Chivas (I hate how everybody says it "CHIVAS-USA") Also 10 Mexican Americans are all ready for the team and 1 Guatemalen/Mexican/American, and 1 Salvadorian/Mexican/American are on the list for possible players for 2005. Count me in as one of those fans cuz for all those that know wuz up "LEGION 2005" will begin next year and I will be one of the main one's:rockman:

Even though i don't agree with everything Blanco says. I must say, if Palencia, Ramirez, and Sabah do come to play in Chivas USA, i can guarantee you there will be sellouts for everygame in the HDC. You have no idea how many Chivas fans there are in Cali and the surrounding area. Not just mexicans, many other latin americans follow chivas aswell..

Oh, i was wondering if Fernando Camacho will play for Chivas USA, anyone know? He did some great games in the Boca Juniors series. Would be an excellent addition to the MLS.

I said Chivas might have a negative effect on the Galaxy's attendance, not leaguewide attendance you numbskull.

Pederas (look it up). :p

That's really sad. Could the Revs potentially switch investor-operators?

I have to say, I personally could care less if LA Chivas sign "PACO" Francisco Palencia, Ramon Ramirez, Miguel Sabah, Antonio Denigris, Cheech Marin, Benicio Del Toro, Danny Trejo, John Leguizamo, the Mexican guy from "The Treasure of Sierra Madre" ('Badges? We don't need no steenking badges!'), all three of the 'Los Lonely Boys,' Carlos Santana, Enrique Iglesias, Oscar de la Hoya, Speedy Gonzales, Dirty Sanchez etc. but it's good to know Vergara wants to bring good players to Chivas Jr. How he's going to get around the salary cap is another issue...
