It was only a decent game dominated all over the pitch. Oh well 3 points is all we need from each game. I want to point out how disapointing pellegrino was, all those uncertain headers! Finann, now there's a liverpool class player, clearing it of the line TWICE! Caragher did well the wwhole game too. I'm surprided djimi played that well just from a comeback from injury. Carson produced a few good saves, Nunez was dribbling at everyone, playing better but not god enough still. Riise, great runs but average game and gerrard as always supporting well although not at his best. Garcia as a lone striker just doesn't seem to work u guys reckon? Good to see Welsh start to. And biscan, great defending aveage midfield playing but scored the vital and important goal for us. Thank you so much. Letallec and smicer played well as they came on and Mori looks like he was never injured with all his touches toobad the one how he controlled it from a cross, he was too slow and couldnt react. Oh well just hope we dont play like this against Juve but should be good. Im seeing a good result.

Although the Garcia as a lone striker up front might not work, who else are we meant to throw up there when we have every striker on the pay role out injured.

I wasn't to keen on Carson. He seems very unsure and he doesn't command his area. The amount of crosses that he should of claimed were in large numbers.

he is 19, give him time, and he wasn't even a starter at Leeds, so his experience is not that much.

Biscan impressed many times this season.. in champions league etc... I don't know;i am not confident about Pellegrino...i think Hyypia is better.. haven't watched to much matches with him playing though..can't really judge. Good to see Carson starting now when will Baros be back.. we need him against Juve!!!! my lineup would be

I would start Dudek just because he has more experience, and about Moro how amny match has he played? most of his time here he has been injure or out of form, next year will be his year.

Regarding Baros, he'll be eligible to play against Juve as the 3 match ban that he is serving is only for domestic competitions, not the Champions League so fear not.

as for Moro,waaay to early to be making any judgement there I feel.

I think we can beat Spurs at home, but i think the Man City away will be a tough one. From memory, we have a decent record at Highbury down the years and think we can snatch a draw. Other than thati hope you are right on your other predictions.

Based on current form i definately cant see Everton beating Bolton away from home. Since Graveson left they havent been the same and its going to be a dog fight for them just to beat even Palace and Fulham

Congrats to Pool on the win. How do you think we will play against City? We expended a lot of energy today... And IMO we would have a better chance of winning the CL next year... Should 4th spot be a higher priority than CL this year?

Also, will we start Alonso against City/Juve?

3 matches in 8 days is tough on anyone... Esp. us with our weakened squad.

don't think we will play as good, we don't play the same football in the EPL as we play in the Champions, just look at Garcia perfect example, he plays class in Champions but in the EPL, nothing near.
