Well, since pitchers and catchers are already reporting for Spring Training, I thought I'd might as well start a new thread for the new season. If a mod could close the other thread, that'd be greatly appreciated. ;) Also, I'll be registering the fantasy league on Friday since that's the first day. I'm doing this now to see when we'll have the draft, I need to know so we don't end up with what happened with the NBA one where nobody showed up except for a couple of people. As of now, these people have said they'd join:

- Me
- Danny
- SRB
- Hyun
- ronnifan
- Deisler
- Rusi
- My little bro :crazyboy:

It'd be nice if a couple of more people joined but I think we'll be good with 8.

I'll wait to see when you guys will be available to do the draft.

I was about to mention this in the 2004 thread, I wanted to start the new thread. I was gonna put all the important signings, the current standings...and some other things.:( But Beto had to get his nosy @ss in the 2005 thread, after soccer, I fallow baseball the most. Oh well:(

Oh, and yes it would greatly appreciated if a mod, min could erase the 2004 thread. Higly appreciated.:)

Edit: Delete the 2004 thread!!!! That way my count will go down, and i can post up again, and it won't look like i'm postboosting.;)

I'm still up for it, although I'm more fond of pitching data instead of all the realistic factors, like bad run support. :(

anywhoo, about the draft, make it whenever possible, i would not expand the teams to more then like 10 if possible, theres 22 rounds and by like the 10th round we'll be picking unkowns and talent thats really either or, unless you are a complete die hard baseball fan.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, I'll probably just keep it at 8, they'll be enough good players to go around.

Please don't make the draft on the weekends...I know registration is opening on Friday so I though you might make it on the weekend, so please don't.

Monday-Thrusday is fine for me....at night and if at all possible, anytime after 6:30 P.M.

So how many rounds? I'd like to take as many as possible but it doesn't really matter.:)

Yes, Hyun I'm going crazy over my self praisels, but thats because I honestly think I'm that good.:mrpimp: ...ok, I'll stop now. :(

Edit: ok, Beto...just don't make it on Saturday...I'm usually back here in SD on Sundays, so thats cool.(Y)

I might make it so the draft is sometime in early March, it would have to be during the weekend because I'm usually working at night during the week. I'll see what I can do.

The Mets should be better this season but let's not forget, they're the Mets. I still don't know how long Pedro's shoulder will hold up, for all we know he might blow it out this season. Bringing in Beltran was a solid move but I still don't know how they'll do. It'll be tough for them, especially considering how good the NL East is now. Atlanta, Philly, and Florida won't be easy teams to beat.

EDIT: Alright guys, I think they're could be a problem with the draft. The only times they have available are from 9AM-11AM ET. Could any of you guys manage to get in at that time? :confused: It won't be a problem with me, I just want to see if you guys can do it.

The draft can happen during the first 3 weeks of March, Monday to Thursday during those 3 weeks. The problem is that some of you guys might be at school or working because of the times that they give (9 AM to 11 AM ET). I want to see what the rest have to say before I choose which day to do it.

EDIT: Hold up, forget about it. They added a whole bunch of days and times now. What about a Thursday or Friday night?

I already have one of my 4 teams registered. This one at SG + two more teams and I'm done. I like the limit of 4 'cause last season I had 10 teams :o....and I couldn't keep up.:(

yea thursday night sounds good.

about the mets, pedro will have to bat now, and his shoulder isn't really all that good now, and it will only get worse when he has to bat and run bases.

Ah sh*t, can't change it now. I'll wait a day or two and if that's what they want to do, I'll delete it and create a new one.
