checked some sources and only sportsnet is reporting it as "pending a physical on monday"..

The trade will NOT be confirmed until he agrees to wave his no trade clause.....Ha, atheletes these days...first we give them a million bucks to hit a ball with a wooden stick and then we give them a NO TRADE CLAUSE....fatted idiots. There are quite a few Americans that do not want to play in Canada.

Glaus is a better offensive player. There are two other current Gold Glove winners on the Jays.....the team needs offense not defence.

defense is overrated, the jays spent a little too much money for my liking, but they seem solid now. let's just hope a.j. doesn't pull a chan ho park, and laugh at the 'fans' who obviously get too worked up about 'belonging' to local teams.

About Nomar declining to play, good, I want to be healthy for when the season starts. Considering he's made of glass nowadays, I don't want to see him go down in some meaningless tournament and be out for a good portion of the season, he made the right decision.
