Gagne's in the middle of blowing a 3 run save to the Brewers.

So much for that blown save. I'll admit that I was getting pretty nervous but we finally won a game.

If Jenkins just tried to get on base instead of winning the game with one swing we'd have won. Gagne was clearly out of his element out there and shaken. If Carlos Lee batted 3rd we would have won.

I say its time to take the power out of the fans hands, and let the players, managers, and GM's pick the talent for the ASG. They also need to get rid of that one player from each team requirement. We watch the All Star Game each summer to watch baseball's best, and the selection process shouldn't be a charity for teams whose entire rosters should be in AAA ball.

Doesnt Izturiz lead the NL in hits. I guess people in the east coast don't get to watch much West Coast teams because of the late start. The play home games at 10:35 pm ET.

Derrek Lee might have taken the lead for hits but Izturis is definitely in the top 3 in that category. He's having a hell of a year and should be starting in the All Star game IMO.

Who's Hernandez? CRAIG BIGGIO!?!? COME ON!!! Beltran's having a bad year and Brady Clark is hitting .340. I guess you just can't get any respect if you play in Milwaukee. Manny hasn't had a great year and Vlad has been injured all year. And don't even put Scotty Po up there, Scotty Po sucks more cock than Jenna Jameson. He's the absolute WORST defending Center Fielder ever (although I guess he's in left now, but he's still terrible), can't hit for ****, and never walks. He's just so ******* bad. If 75 steals gets you to the All-Star regardless of a lack of any other talent then Maurice Green's in the wrong profession.

Done ripping your ballot, overall it's pretty good. I think the fans need to vote, there's like 91 players on each team, who cares. And everyone wants to see their team's best player on the AS Team, so why take that away? It's not like the game was competitive or exciting, or meant anything. The NBA is completely different though. In baseball there's a hundred All Stars, in the NBA there's like 12.

Yesterday the Mets won against the Giants in their second game of the double header, without any strikeouts. Not my type of a fun game.

* Clint Barmes became injured carrying grocery bags, and now he is out for minimum of 12 weeks. There will be surgery.

One of my favorite players to watch this season. Not in defense, but in offense.

Good decision though. The situation has all but turned good for me nowadays, Clint Barmes is injured from a grocery shopping, Beto is getting the best out of Eric Chavez , and I'm denied Huston Streets.

Shifty (or Shifty if you'd prefer. :P), I would've picked the other shortstops rather than pick Counsell. There's Eckstein of the Cards and Perez of the Cubs who are doing good under the radar. Nothing against Counsell though, I loved his plays in 2001. And yes, I don't know why I got to pick up great unnoticed players like Mench, Ensberg, Dellucci (Proof that lasic do wonders ) and Barmes (GODDAMNIT ). Funny thing is I got these players by dropping the players I thought to be solid. Well that's baseball I guess.

Send me a trade offer anyone, and I'll seriously consider it if it's not too shabby. We need more of an active league. PM me your potential needs, and I'll try to appease.

It was funny, I was sorting through the Sabermetric stats on espn.com about a week ago and there were two guys who kept popping up in relevant offensive categories and they were free agents in our league.... Counsell and Mench. I should have acted right away and gotten both, but I just didn't. Damn. Tough luck on Clint Barmes, but from a guy who has Vlad on his team you aren't going to get TOO much sympathy.

haha, yeah, looks like my reluctance to trade him is finally paying off for me.

Like I've mentioned before, I'm making Justin Duchscherer available if anyone needs a reliever. I'm pretty sure he'll have a more important role in the A's pen with Dotel out, maybe he'll be Street's setup man. If anyone is interested, maybe we can work something involving a couple of my other players.

Yea well I was in a rush so here it goes. A player from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Darin Erstad number 17 I believe, knocked down the Atlanta Braves catcher Johnny Estrada, so that he would not be tagged out. Could you understand that?
