Wells' contract is up at the end of next season(2007). So far he's rejected extensions. Another rejection and J.P. Ricciardi will get rid of him by the trade deadline....we can get a decent package for a Gold Glove All-Star CF.

I believe a player to be named later from the Red Sox plus cash...probably similar offer from the Reds.

First Adkins, then the HOFF, but when I saw Rudy Seanez was pitching man I didn't like our chances specially against Ramon. 1st place was sweet, even for a day.

Bring on the Mets. Can't wait for Wednesday, I really think we've got a shot at moving on. It all depends on whether our pitchers can keep the Mets offense under control and give our guys a chance to win. Their pitching doesn't scare me, especially now that Pedro is out (what a shock, it was only a matter of time before his shoulder gave out).

Heh, so much for the Mets having problems with which starting pitchers they'd put out there. Maine did the job yesterday and Glavine was on top of his game tonight. I still can't get over that retarded double play at home plate from yesterday, maybe just maybe things could have gone differently if Drew had stayed at third.

Whatever, we're going to have to win 3 straight now and that's just not going to happen. Our starting pitching just isn't good enough and there's no way we can hang with the Mets' offense. I hope we win on Saturday just to avoid the sweep.

I could really care less about the playoffs, I won the friggin fantasy and I was never much of a team spirit guy. watching the last two innings of most games have been enjoyable though, especially the clinchers.
