I'm about to go into my first draft of the season on yahoo......normally I wait until the last couple of days but I'm just too giddy about the upcoming season to wait that long.


I'll report back on my result after it's done.

hurhur, I wish, bro, but no. It's a sentimental pick, but a worthy one nonetheless in my opinion. Ken has always been my favourite baseballer from since I was a toddler. I always make an effort to draft him no matter the circumstances, hell, I've been getting some decent offers for him already, man.


Anything over 110 interms of games when it comes to Ken is considered a success by me, man.

I think you did a decent job at drafting actually. Carl Crawford and Ryan Freel will give you the most steals by far, and the rest of your offense looks good with Kent and Wright especially. But your pitching could be a lot better; well, first of all Haren is probably the ace on your team and definitely better than Lowry. Secondly, it's never good to have a relief pitcher who isn't actually the closer (I don't know if Dempster will close, if he will, forget I said this) because generally the only stats that relief pitchers will help you out with are saves and strikeouts and strikeout ratio. Wagner's a good closer, but you need another one.

All of you guys are super lucky since I already have plans to go give blood tomorrow and then go to FAC (Friday After Class) at a local bar where they have $2 pitchers. So if I make some crappy picks, you'll know why, but I should be there to draft tomorrow. Bucky's Annual Blood Drive is a great tradition for me and one of my roommates, we've gone to each one now and gone to get drunk afterward.
