3 days and the winter transfer window is gonna be history, only 1 reinforcement from the expected 3, so far it's been a terrible season, i ain't gonna point fingers yet, but it seems that Dehu and Fio took the stability of the team with 'em, in 30 mins we gave away 2 goals, (Pichot is like a hole, everything he does seems to end in a goal against us) last season PSG's back line seemed way more solid, after the penalty, the team just couldn't hack it no more, hopefully the return of practically half the team will help the mental state of the team (Cana, Mendy, Rothen will be back in 7days, Semak will finally see action after the monaco game, hopefully M'bami can start to work on fitness, the list is so long i forget)

PS: Mendy summarizes the state of the team, total frustration he always gives 200% and in his frustration he has been picking more cards than is usual for him, it will be sad when the season ends and he leaves which is highly likely, he is by far the best french RB

PPS: god help us if we get stuck with Pichot as a RB....

this is painful to watch, we lost 0 - 2 to Monaco, i just wish we do not keep falling towards the relegation zone...

Letizi - B. Mendy, Pierre-Fanfan, Yepes, Armand - Helder, Cana - Coridon, Reinaldo, Semak - Pauleta

Semak played alright, highly defensive PSG, i mean if you know you need points wouldn't you try to take the initiative away from Monaco?, if after 24 games you can't figure out how to make a quality team rebound you need to give it up as a coach and resign., Teixeira or Ragued could've been given a chance to play at a position they usually play (central midfielder) im not complaining about how Helder played, but it is not his position, Ljuboja has better partnership with Pauleta upfront yet the coach decides to leave him benchwarming everygame, after a great last season, we got better players for some positions but our coach definetly didn't know what to do with them.

another lost, we were totally dominated by Lens loosing 2- 0

again not complaining about Helder, but having Ragued and Teixeira why would you pick somebody who has played the position once in his life, Vahid may have a row with Ljuboja, but hi is by far a way better partner for Pauleta up front.

Letizi - B. Mendy, Pierre-Fanfan, Yepes, Armand - Pancrate, Helder, Cana, Semak - Reinaldo - Pauleta

Change is needed; change is coming. Firing Vahid still has nothing to do with not being able to shoot or clear the ball, tho'.

It's a two-way street, a two-way failure.

the way i see it is he had the players, either they lost the motivation or he couldn't find the answers, the only big changes that the PSG squad suffered from last season was Dehu and Fio,

i always thought we were playing without a real RW the signing of Semak confirms this, we got a decent RW,

we got Yepes and PFF, PFF had already proven himself last season playing alongside Dehu, and Yepes did always good with Nantes,

Heinze who was a fighter left, but we got Armand who i also think is a really good LB, Mendy is awesome simple as that,

Rothen is as good or better than Sorin, even though he has been injured for a really long time.

what i saw as odd besides the fact that we were playing without a solid RW was with Ljuboja/Reinaldo and Pauleta, Ljuboja has proven that he is a far better partner to Pauleta than Reinaldo, i don't care if you have a row with a player if he can deliver in the pitch you put him on, moreso when you're wasting points weekend after weekend.

to my liking Vahid was a lil bit to defensive of a trainer but it kinda is a mistery to me how he went from 2nd of the league to 12th, having a better squad imho than last year, maybe some of the players lost the motivation or something else happened.

we had a lot of bad luck this season with the injuries (Rothen, M'Bami) but i thought we had more than enough cover for those positions (Cisse, Cana, Ragued, Teixeira for CM; Benachour, Boskovic for LM)

imho when you have the players and week in week out you can't find the solutions to make your team win games its obvious where the problem lies

New coach same results

Strabourg - PSG 3-1

Letizi - B. Mendy, Pierre-Fanfan (cap), Yepes, Armand - Ateba, Cissé, Cana, Benachour - Reinaldo, Pauleta

uhm you have Rothen, and Semak and you make a defender play on the wings?, i really think an injured Rothen couldve played better than Ateba, the only one i can possibly see playing on the wings is Mendy, even though i rather have mendy in his RB position.

relegation season?

PHEW. Excellent. Not the most convincing of results, but when ones back is pinned sqarely against the wall, 3 points the the priority over everything. The firing of Halilhodzic, as we now know (but hindsight is 20-20) wasnt the only way to solve this problem. Anyway, im just glad PSG have clawed their way away from the drop zone, can hopefully build some momentium for next year, cause god knows this one is gone to pot :kader:

we're paying for what happened during the last league game of 2004 (protest in the form of millions of flares, well not millions)
so an empty stadium was the punishment.

ps: yep Semak had his first really crappy game.
pps: it's a shame Mendy is prolly gonna go play abroad he always gives his 200%, its gonna be kinda hard to replace him, pichot is like a shadow playing rb everybody goes through him.

O that sux, how long is the empty stadium ban? Does anyone have the video of the protest? PSG-BOYS you must have it:p Or is that the one you posted in my Ultras thread where you just see them and the police in the streets?
