Well it was a good result for us. I wonder what could have happened if Polga didn´t pull a "Baía" and got red card instead of that pathetic yellow. Our defence was great, specially our center backs. I wish some portuguese clubs would follow Académica´s example. From our rock steady defensive quartet (Nuno Luis, Zé Castro, Zé António and Vasco Faísca), everyone is portuguese. Note to those stupid Sporttv commentators: Marcel(stupid miss) is too good for Académica? What a load of crap. I don´t even rate him very highly, he is too clumsy with deficient technic and the only asset he has is his physical strenght. Dário is much better than him, hell even Sarmento (U-20 nt player) will be a better player than him in the future. Why waste so much money on him? Luciano gives us much more guarantees.
Nelo Vingada is doing a great job, i don´t wanna celebrate "antecipadamente" but i think we will stay in the Superliga. I sincerily hope that we give him a new contract and i sincerily hope that we get rid of those excessive brazilian players (Danilo and Rafael Gaúcho) and other rejects like (Kennedy, Andrade and Ricardo Fernandes) and inject new blood into our team. That´s the only way we can evolute.

Even though I'm a die-hard Porto fan and I want us to win the title, it'll be both unfair and wrong if we do win it - the message will be 'destroy one of the best teams you've ever had, waste all your money on talentless and heartless players and get away with it'. I don't want PdC and the rest of the SAD to get away with it. This should be a mark on our history, to ensure the same mistakes won't be made.
So, errr, go Braga I guess.

Today Estoril will play like it was the game of their lifes... Like Infesta, I also think this "polémica" will work in favour of them. I'm expecting a very hard game, extremely difficult for us to win, even more without Manuel Fernandes.

Anyway, this championship will definitely be played until the very end, with lots and lots of emotion. The top 4 can still all win it, with more or less equal chances. The one that doesn't fail in the decisive moments, that has the right attitude, mentality and also luck, will be the champion.

I disagree with you on that one, it's been in the decisive matches that we've played better. We won all our important games in the UEFA Cup, and also in the league, excluding at Dragão and against Braga (and in this case, we all know how).
It's against the small teams that we had the biggest problems, that's why I'm confident that we can win, first of all and most importantly, the UEFA Cup, and if it's possible, the League.
