I talk when I want, and don't care what you think about it. You must be blind, though, or absent when the whole Apito Dourado incident started a couple years ago.

Of course, any member in any forum can post whenever they want, where they want, you know that's not what I meant. When it all started I was not the one denying it.

This is match fixing, this is harming the spor, any way you look at it.
The context of the conversation between Vieira and Valentim was simple: they were choosing which ref should go to that match.

If chosing refs was a standard practice for top clubs then it means there are more guilty parties, not less. Vieria isn't less guilty because of it.

Yes, apparently it was a current pratice between every club in Taça matches.. First, it was Valentim calling LFV because he was angry as he didn't want the other ref that had an agreedment with Porto. He wanted a unbiased ref, unlike Pdc that wanted one to harm Benfica. He's guilty too because of that, and I agree when you say all of the "dirigentes" should exit football.

That said, I don't think there's no point for us to continue discussing this here. We know that's not gonna happen so soon.. :nape:

it's not match fixing, match fixing is influencing the ref's work by threatning or handing him gifts (like prostitutes you know) but for f*ck sake this practice has to stop. Just bring back the f*cking draw.

If LFV confirmed the news is true why haven't Valentim and Pinto de Sousa resigned already?

oh by the way, the Belenenses president in 2003/2004 has already confirmed he was contacted by Pinto de Sousa in the same moulds as was LFV.

Also, like Virgo said, the Belenenses president confirmed he was also contacted... Although it's a bullsh*t procedure to make things, it's the way they do, nothing un-normal(exists?)... And like LFV says, maybe with this new, it's time to change the way they do this things.

AGAIN, i repeat, i didn't liked to see this new, and i'm in some way disapointed with this, but this is nothing compared to what the other dirigentes actually did. I still have hope LFV together with more people can clean the **** out of Portuguese football, but just hope, not to confident on it...

this is what Gil Vicente will get.

It's stupid to draw conclusions based on allegations. I don't confirm anything nor do I deny it. I always said that if all this was true then blablabla.

In my view, the point of today's 'O Publico' news is that PdC is under investigation for the exact same reasons LFV isn't. Anyone else got that idea after reading the article?

if GV ends, it would sound like some kind of suicide :nape:
it's really sad that a club with a lot of fans can end because of beeing hold by fiuza's idiots band. and it would be equally tragic if the fans, i mean the "socios" continue to support fiuza like blind sheep. :nape:

precisely what i thought after reading it...
about LFV i can only say: Quem tem telhados de vidro...
it's about time for all the "podres" from our football to be eliminated, let's see if that's what is going to happen in the end

so are you suggesting as he was involved in this (as any other club president or representative) he should shut up about any information about corruption he may have?

what an awesome match by Boavista so far, very impressed especially by Linz and Grzelak (sp?) but the whole team played very well throughout the whole match.

Boavista 3-0 Benfica FT (H)

Funky must be going wild, congrats to him for the fully deserved win (Y)

and João Ferreira steals the show in the dying minutes! :funny:

That Linz is awesome. And the goal by Gaz is fantastic, just as good as Nani's one.

Let's start the bets. How many suspension games do you give to Petit? (H)

Paulo Da Silva

Starting XI
did Benfica have one chance at all to score? Like wow it was a horrible performance. Linz looks like a player to look at, same with Kaz and Grzelak. Great unknown signings so far

What an embarassment.

3 - 0, not one chance created, the team captains Nuno Gomes and Petit acting like complete twats. No discipline whatsoever

F.Santos won't last till christmas

btw Manu's sending off is utterly retarded, Manu didn't even touch him. Ricardo Silva should have been sent off, not that it mattered anyway.

I surely hope he doesn't. There was no tactic, the players didn't know what to do, everyone playing slowing as if they didn't want to win, except Kikin, he actually showed he wanted to win, if only the others would do the same.. It's better not to show up next time if they don't feel like playing.

Man, FS has no control at all in the dressing room.

yeah, I agree, it really wouldn't have made much difference but Gomes was rightly sent off and there was no reason for R. Silva not to be as well.

i bet he'll get only 2 suspension games. but he surely deserves more. but i still bet in 2 games because of in similar cases the players rarely get an heavy suspension.

Paulo Da Silva

oh yeah Silva should have been red carded, i agree. But lets see how much games Petit will get. 3 the minimum. What a retard. He does what he does, gets red carded, then whines and cries abot how he did nothing. what a retard. And t be honest what did Manu do for a straight red card?
